this place is an absolute joke. pricing is off and they jump charges on you at the end. they’re also extremely rude about it and do it in a very unprofessional manner. i’m also pretty sure they’re using MMA because my natural nails have been stained ever since the acrylics came off weeks ago. idk, just save your trip and go to sandy’s down the street!

Ive been going here for a few months and it was usually fine I always did just a solid color. A few times I’d get a simple design and be charged according to that. Decent prices for the designs. I got a simple design of squiggles on my nails and the girl who was doing my nails was evidently new. She took forever ( I went in at 1:30 and got out of there at 4 pm), she cut me once, did not file and shape my nails properly and her design skills were not that great. I had requested her to fix the design many times. Regardless of that, I did not complain because she was noticeably nervous. I understand how it is being the new guy and everybody new has to practice somewhere. When I went to go pay, the guy at the register was so rude when I asked him why I was being charged $35 for a basic design. Instead of cooperating or making any sense of the price for literally squiggles with white and blue polish, no gems no nothing, he stays very stern on the price. I told him to take my card and charge the price he was giving me but that it literally made no sense to charge me $35 for literal squiggles. Instead of being cooperative or at least making some sort of sense of his pricing, he continues to be rude and ignorant. This went on for a few minutes but I’m honestly baffled at how he was okay with being so rude and unprofessional. I am extremely disappointed in the way I was spoken to and how the entire situation was handled. That is not how you speak to people at all especially if they are your customers. The two stars I gave is for the only guy that does nails. I don’t remember his name but he was always very sweet. If he wasn’t busy with another customer at the time I would’ve requested for him instead.

I moved to STL 4 years ago and needed a nail salon. I tried a few but I never felt comfortable until I found C&W! The owner is always there working, everyone is happy and friendly and knows my name. My nails look and feel better then they ever have (even in NY) If you want a great nail salon, look no further!!!!
