Critical: ProfessionalismUpon entering the “salon” I was greeted rudely by the “stylist” telling me he doesn’t do womens’ haircuts and that the other stylist who usually does womens’ haircuts is out with a broken arm. When I justified my ignorance of this fact by citing the lack of sign outside, the man became increasingly more agitated and told me that people typically call first. In turn I pointed out that they accept walk-ins so I didn’t think to call first. He then became even more aggressive, was raising his voice, and waving his hands around saying “I don’t know what you want me to do!” at this point I just walked out. Before this exchange happened, the same man told another customer that he had a phone appointment and would need to put the haircut on hold in the event of that call coming through. Upon entering the “salon” I was greeted rudely by the “stylist” telling me he doesn’t do womens’ haircuts and that the other stylist who usually does womens’ haircuts is out with a broken arm. Just today, I was able to schedule a same-day appointment and the owner restored my terribly long and terribly damaged quarantine hair and turned it into a masterpiece.In the past, I’ve come to him to style all lengths of hair from long slick backs to fades.
