Julie is the absolute best. The first time I sat down in her chair, I knew I’d be back! And I’ve been back many times over the last couple years. Went through a few duds to get to a gem, inside and out. She is hilarious and we mostly laugh and tell stories, but she also called me and encouraged me after I shared with her some disappointing news one visit. Go to Per Dona!

Today was my first experience at Per Dona, and it was fantastic! The salon met my expectations and more! Great location, clean environment, sunny atmosphere, professional, friendly, talented, and personable staff. I have been trying to find a great salon and a gifted stylist. Julie is amazing! She is truly a hair artist. I’ve been transitioning from overdone, blonde highlights to my natural brunette with wanting caramel highlights. She just knew what to do and what would look best on me and did not disappoint!

Amanda is the best. I’m sure all of them are great. But Amanda performed miracles on my ever thinning hair. I walk in totally down in the dumps about my hair, thinking nothing can’t help it. I went and saw Shannon for a haircut today. She was very personable and friendly. She also was very knowledgeable about curly hair which can be tricky. I’m over 40 and she’s the first stylist to rinse and recondition my hair after cutting it, to prepare it for styling because combing it during a cut breaks up the curl. One of the best hair experiences I’ve ever had, and I have worked in salons for years. I am so happy that I booked another appointment with her in 8 weeks! I have definately found my new stylist and I highly recommend Shannon.

Krystal is my hair stylist and does a wonderful job. Her priority is to make sure her clients are listened to and happy. I leave the salon very satisfied and feeling good about my hair and myself. Julie has been my hairdresser for many years. She is the only hairdresser I have ever had who styles my hair so well that I don’t feel the need to immediately “fix” it after I leave the salon. Critical: ProfessionalismWent in to get a haircut. I asked for collarbone length hair and provided 2 pictures. I said I had to be able to put my hair in a pony tail for my job. I was open a bit to what she thought would be best for the layering and textures since she had so many years of experience.Walked out with my hair above my shoulders. Very disappointed it’s not nearly the length I asked for, not to mention the safety hazard it will cause now with my hair in my eyes at work. I bought one item to help my hair but walked out paying just shy 100 bucks. I still tipped well for the service because her time is still worth something. I have been going to Per Dona salon for about 2 years now. I was having a hard time finding a hairdresser in the Mount Vernon/Burlington area, when my husband recommended calling Per Dona. I was set up with Amanda and she has made such an impact on my hair! Every time I walk out of the salon, I feel like a million bucks! She is so talented and has great suggestions on changing my hair up a bit (I’m in my 50s so change is sometimes a tough hill to climb). Not only is Amanda amazing, but the rest of the staff there is so pleasant to work with. They are always smiling and friendly. I really enjoy my time there.
