This business is absolutely terrible. They lie and admit to mistakes yet won’t make right their wrongs. They spoke to my insurance company and said that they took our insurance ( after me telling them I refused to be a self pay patient) and had me schedule the appointment. Only to charge me $200 BEFORE seeing my daughter and did NO treatment whatsoever. After I called since my husband took her, they admitted they made a mistake regarding insurance but that DR ROMAN refused to make it right. Spoke to them several times. They lied and said he signed a self pay paper yet refuses to email it to me. They are money hungry, unprofessional and uneducated.

Had a very strange experience with the nurse practitioner/co-owner, Toni; my daughter had an appointment with her, we came on time, ended up waiting for an hour in the room because Toni was tied up with another patient as per her medical assistant that came in the room after 30 mins of waiting, we said fine we can wait a bit longer but will need to leave soon for another appointment, so we waited and after an hour I decided to check again only to be attacked by Toni, the nurse, indicating that she is with a patient who is passing out on her after a procedure and that her time with us was not guaranteed and we should leave…she literally kicked us out of the room with the exact words: ” We are done here”. I mean we were in shock. We literally did nothing wrong, didn’t yell or do anything like that at all. All we did was waited for an hour and simply said that we would need to leave soon and we certainly didn’t know that anyone was passing out. I picked up my daughter from school early and missed my work meetings to get to the office on time, and in return, she was so aggressive and rude and kicked us out. It’s unheard of. I mean she may have had a bad day but this is no way to treat patients that came on time and waited their turn. I get that sometimes things happen, especially if someone is passing out in another room, that is totally understandable but we had no idea, nor it is okay to speak to your customers this way. Instead of apologizing and thanking us for waiting, she threw us out. This is crazy. I am not a complaining kind at all and have no issues with the office in general, the girls upfront were nice and looked just as socked as we did when they heard her, Dr.Roman is also nice, we saw him before with no issues, so not sure what’s gotten into his wife but this is unacceptable. What kind of mediocre nurse is she, how absurd. As a professional, you should always keep yourself in check and act courteous, especially when people waited for you and did nothing wrong. This is a business like any other, and if you cannot communicate with customers and explain yourself in a civil manner, perhaps you should go back to school and retake some Communication 101 courses to sharpen those poor customer service skills before you can call yourself a professional. I get it that you are married to the doctor and therefore are a co-owner in the business but beware, you’re scaring his patients away and ruining his good reputation as it is pretty obvious that all those good reviews are for HIS hard work. Needless to say we will spread the word accordingly. Happy holidays! 🙂

Emailed Pennsylvania Dermatology Specialists and got a response right away. Their front office fit me in the next day (surprisingly). Dr. Roman and his team took care of me from the start to finish. I am glad I went when I did because Dr. Roman found something that was not even on my radar or concern on my skin.
