These people are crooks. I’ve been there twice and will never set foot in there again. My first visit was booked and I confirmed two days before my appointment, but since I didn’t confirm again, the day of, she gave my appointment away. I told her that I was at work and couldn’t get to my phone. She told me to come in anyway. She had me wait 3 hours before she started my hair. I had explained to her ,when I booked the appt., that i needed my hair dyed. She didn’t tell me that i needed to bring the dye!!!! I didn’t finish until 8pm when my appointment was at 2:30. The second visit (I went back because every other placed I called was booked and I was desperate due to time) I was quoted one price on the phone, another price when I got there and a even higher price after she was done. The braids were far too tight. I wanted my extensions dipped and not burned and she burned them anyway!!!! Very unprofessional people and I would strongly advise people to not seek their services. Boycott this establishment, maybe then they will not be and act so shady!

I love this spot. The staff are always kind and accommodating! Each braided does their best and they make sure they’re not hurting you. I’ve brought my daughter as well, and she loves it here. I also bought some cute waist beads. Highly recommend them! Box Braids

The ladies were very nice and the lady that braided my hair was the tall woman and I forgot to ask her name, but both were very nice and professional. My braids look very nice and I’m very pleased with the exception of them being a bit too tight on my front edge. However, I have soft hair that’s hard to braid and have the nerve to be tender-headed (LOL!!) and my braids (no matter who does them are always tight). I found this salon on Google, called at 5:00 and got an appointment for 6:00. The ladies were very nice and the lady that braided my hair was the tall woman and I forgot to ask her name, but both were very nice and professional. My braids look very nice and I’m very pleased with the exception of them being a bit too tight on my front edge. First time here and I walked away very satisfied. They started braiding immediately. My braids are nice and tight but not killing my head. The ladies were very professional and I loved that they all greeted everyone that walked through the door. I love my braids, my friends and family love my braids but most of all my husband and kids love my braids! The price was well worth the results!

Roots was the only hair braiding salon I would visit for my daughter & I since we’ve moved to Raleigh in June 19’. I’ve gone there on 5 different occasions. They always achieved the look I was going for. Until recently I took my daughter to get box braids & was asked to put the beads on my daughter’s hair while she took care of another client. Can’t remember the lady’s name. They were obviously short staffed at the time, but that has nothing to do with me. I think it was very unprofessional. However, I’m very pleased with how my daughter’s hair turned out. We will not be returning. My daughter is 4yrs old & the price for her style came out to 110, which I thought was way too expensive considering the fact my child is only 4 & I helped in the process. I didn’t argue about it. They just won’t get another cent out of me.

I scheduled an appointment for 2pm 3 days in advance. I got a call the day of the appointment saying they will have to push it back to 6pm. Very unprofessional. Idk why this happened but my guess they had a walk in spending more money. Little did they know I could have brought lots of business.
