Stay away from this place. Stylist today told me that they’re under new management and let all of the previous stylists go. So unfortunately none of the previous good reviews can’t be trusted. I got a foil and cut today and I left with WET hair that still has dye in it?! I literally have to go home and wash and style my hair myself now. The highlights are uneven and she only cut the back of my hair. I didn’t complain because the stylist completely lost my trust and I didn’t want her to “fix” anything. I’ve experienced better quality at budget salons and beauty schools. Now I know that I can longer trust an Aveda salon to be legit. You’ve all been warned.

I purchased a 30 minute facial and it was quite sloppy. The esthetician was personable and nice, but the whole experience was less than relaxing. Product was just lathered on my face (including my lips) and was barely on my face long enough to absorb into my skin before then next product came. I have gotten a facial at Pelo about 2 years ago and it was such a great experience. I’m super bummed because I was really looking forward to this and I left feeling quite disappointed.

DO NOT BOOK. I spent weeks trying to call and make appointments with this salon. I had to cancel two of my appointments for personal reasons and called the salon each time to do that. The third time I tried to call them, right before Christmas time, I would call the salon each day and someone would pick up then the line would end. I emailed Pelo to let them know this was happening to try to rebook an appointment, asked to change the time of my upcoming appointment, and never heard back. When I finally got ahold of them today to try to figure out what was going on and schedule an appointment before my groupon expired, I was ultimately told that I can no longer book with them because I “no call, no showed”, when in reality it was the salon that I could not get ahold of after calling and emailing with them many times. Unprofessional, unorganized, and rude. Don’t go here unless you want bad service and DEFINITELY do not get a groupon to this salon. copy pasting to groupon review.

Sara is who I always go to but they all do good work. The salon is very quiet, great place to chill and get pampered. Prices are VERY reasonable compared to other Aveda salons. My mother and friends use Pelo regularly since I referred them, so we all agree 5 stars across the board.

I have been coming to Pelo Salon and Spa for about six months. The treatment they give to their clients makes you feel like royalty. I have been getting hair cuts in this time, which have been excellent. They grow out so nicely. The Aveda technique is outstanding.
