Only nail salon in Jackson I’ve used during my 4 years of living here, as I’ve never felt the need to go anywhere else. They always do a great job with my nails – and my first ever pedicure experience was great. It was a wonderful way to help prep me for a vacation coming up and to feel pampered. It’s also always been a special treat to have acrylics during off season that last well and don’t cause problems for my natural nails.

Compared to most others in Jackson, this nail salon feels luxe and pampering in terms of the environment. The technicians are skilled and do a good job – even with hand-drawn nail art. However, both times I’ve gotten gel manicures with different techs (one being the owner), they did something I’ve never seen done before in years getting gel manicures: After finishing the manicure, they filed the ends of my nails a bit. The result? Both times the gel started chipping away from the edges after a little over a week. My first one was way worse than the one shown in the photo. Normally my gel manicures last without chipping until I just need to get them redone due to growth. I’m not sure if it was the intention, but I can’t help but think this is what significantly shortened the lifespan of my (expensive) manicure. I’m disappointed because I really liked this salon.

I chose this salon based upon the reviews, I am absolutely disappointed. I made 3 reservations for 2pm online for myself, my sister (bride), and my mother with instructions. Upon arriving it was evident there would not be enough staff to accommodate our needs. I was separated from my party which I understood, but when my sister asked for help (THE BRIDE) she was told to look on her own and then someone would help, which help never came. I had expressed she should be helped before myself and my mother, but the suggestion was dismissed. I was then able to join the rest of the party and due to divided attention of the staff, the water was SCALDING hot. The divided attention continued throughout the entire experience. One stylist painted my mother’s skin to the point my stylist had to intervene to fix her toe nails. Another customer was just as frustrated to the point where she wanted to leave and vocalized such to the “manager”. Then the stylist asked two girls to sit down before my sister (the bride) and my mother had their manicure. If we didn’t speak up the stylists would have moved on. The experience was rushed, however we were there FOEVER due to the stylists jumping around. I do NOT recommend this place!
