Great service! I’ve used Kenny, Randy, and Adam, and gotten GREAT cuts from each of them. They know how to cut hair very well…so much that my wife comments on how well it cut every time I go. (Too many years of getting a hack job at a chain store, where there is always something uneven, or missed) The haircuts are worth going there for by themselves, but the ‘experience’ is awesome too. It’s very welcoming, and expect some car talk, some dad jokes, and maybe some very light sports talk. (it’s different every time I’ve been in there!) The first time I was in, I was treated like a regular, and it was clear they appreciated me stopping in. I cant imagine going to chain again, and just being ‘customer 6 for the day’.

Paul’s is by far likely one of the best quality barbershops in Minnesota. A truly great 1950’s feeling $18 haircut that they humbly advertise that they feel their pricing is a bit high, but rightfully point the blame where it’s due. Paul’s offers a wonderfully patriotic, Americana, inclusive atmosphere that I would recommend to anyone. The gentlemen that serve you here make you feel like liquid federal reserve standard gold and make sure you leave looking like it.

I took my two boys for a proper haircut (ages 2 and 4) and was extremely disappointed. When I made the appt I was upfront with their ages and they said bringing them in would be fine. The younger barber who cut my 4 year old was just fine. This review is for the older man who cut my 2 year old. He was absolutely miserable. He cut my sons neck and back of his head while buzzing his hair and he blames it on my son moving. He also told me he “hates getting stuck with the kid” which was VERY unprofessional. He kept making irritated faces and sighs when my son would move. Don’t offer to cut children’s hair if you are going to be so rude. My youngest son looks like a kindergarten student cut his hair. What a waste of money. I do not recommend. Place was filthy too.
