My girlfriend wanted me to post this review on her behalf: I went here to get my nails done while I was visiting San Francisco. The staff was polite and professional, and I love my nails! Sometimes dip powder can get clumpy and thick looking, so I was scared to get the dip powder full set at first, but my nails turned out great! I also love the color periwinkle, and they had the exact shade I was looking for.(: I highly recommend stopping by for a visit if you are in the area!

There is truly no better nail salon than Paua! Not only do they do the best manicures in SF, but they are the warmest, most welcoming staff that always make you feel at home in their salon. They do the BEST dip manicures, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do them. Paua is a large, clean, bright salon with plenty of space for pedicures and manicures and other services. I love coming with friends, as they always have a rom com playing and offer you refreshments. Thank you Tweetie, Mai and the entire team at Paua. I refuse to go anywhere else!

Got a full set dip powder and was overall super impressed by my whole experience!! Whole process took about 1 hour and 20 minutes—they had movies playing inside which was nice. I had Mai and she was amazing, would recommend her to all my friends as she was focused and detail-oriented.

I don’t recommend this nail salon at all! This was my third time going there for gel polish my last time I was treated very bad she even shouted at me,and they gave me attitude telling me that last time I was there I asked them to cut my nails short and this is bothering them !so you go there you let them do whatever they want but never ask for anything or they call you picky because I asked for shorter nails and fix the color I’m speechless never in my whole life heard anything like this how come I don’t have the right to ask for what I want

I’ve been here about half a dozen times now for the ProCell Microchanneling procedure. My skin is getting worse as I age as I have thin skin that shows redness, sun spots, large pores, and very oily skin. I’ve tried going to the dermatologist who wasn’t able to help my skin. I saw an ad on Facebook for ProCell and I did my research on it and the results were impressive. Since starting the procedure here at Paua, my skin has improved so much. I’ve been less dependent on makeup and there is much less redness and sunspots on my face. It’s a splurge but I think it’s well worth it and will continue to maintain my facials rather than resort to invasive things like fillers to maintain youthful skin.
