This is in response to the person who said there were “racist ” remarks made at Pat’s barbershop and posted it in a review. I’ve been coming to Pat’s for 20 years and never heard anything even remotely resembling racism. The shop has always been a place where people feel free to discuss their opinions in a cordial and respectful manner, whether it be sports, local events, or politics. For someone to falsely accuse another of making “racist” comments is both slanderous to the individual and damaging to their business. Had these remarks been directed at me I would sue for libel and deformation of character. Had the accusations made by this individual been true it is highly unlikely that Pat’s barbershop would have a rating of 4.9 out of over 100 reviews. I don’t know what this person’s problem is but his remarks were certainly unfounded.

To SI Davis! I was sitting in the chair when you decided to interject yourself into a political conversation with Pat. As a former Marine and a patron of Pat’s since 2011, I will defend your right to freedom of Speech in today’s America. To be fair, Pat & I were discussing a political commentator (Tucker Carlson) when you interjected and called Tucker a “Racist” and other derogatory times. When Pat asked you to justify your opinion, you could not provide one. At that point, you decided to leave and on your way out said you would not get a haircut from a “Racist” barbershop without justification. Pat once again rightfully called you out for automatically reverting to vile, disgusting and inflammatory language. In my opinion, that automatic and unjustified opinion is what’s destroying America. America’s barbershops have a long tradition of talking about everything that stands for America (i.e. baseball, politics, military, education, family and more) and if you can’t participate, then go to a hair salon. Maybe you should consider humbly offering an apology to Pat, his business and his reputation.!

This was my first time there. Pat gave me a very good haircut at a good price and the atmosphere was fine. It was pretty crowded but it moved a long quickly. You are not going to get the razor, extra fine detail work but you will be out the door much sooner.
