I have been going to Parto for 20 years. He is professional and truly the best in his field. I have thick, long, curly hair that’s challenging to work with and Parto always makes it look fabulous. He is honest and will always advice you on what’s right for your hair type, even if that means less profit for him. He also listens and is accurate, he’s never cut my hair too much or too little. I will continue to drive almost 20 miles to go to his salon.

Parto cuts and styles my hair. I have been going to this salon for over 11 years (previously a different owner, but Parto has always been here). My hair is always cut uniformly so that when it grows out, it looks better because it is even. I get tips on how to really care for my hair, and they really listen on how you want your hair done. The salon is friendly, and clean. I have sent friends and family who like my hair and now get their hair done there!

I appreciate the service in this salon. I am always pleased with the haircuts. When I was younger, fresh out of college, I would come to Parto Naderi at night to get a cut/color by a stylist-in-training. I loved the salon for that reason alone – a $30 cut/color is hard to come by, and the students were always working under the watchful eye of a senior stylist. Not sure if they still do this, but if you’re on a budget, it’s worth asking. I decided to get a perm once, about six years ago – no fault of the salon, but my hair is destined to be stick-straight, even with perm solution 🙁 They didn’t bat an eye at my request for a perm, either…although several salon patrons asked “what treatment is she getting?” and thought I was back from the 80’s when I told them it was a perm. I guess the trend of blow-outs and stick-straight ironed hair is more in vogue. Grass is always greener, I guess….

Critical: Professionalism, QualityOlga at this salon is very disappointing. After seeing an ad of her work on Instagram I decided to book an appointment to have my hair dyed. I booked an appointment online and explained my hair texture. Two days before my appointment she emailed me late in the night to reschedule it for the next morning! I had an open schedule and said sure. Once I got there Olga touched my hair lightly and told me she doesn’t do textured hair and sent me on my way. I explained in my email before I got there that my hair is naturally curly, she told me that she thought I meant wavy. It is just so disappointing that in the year 2020 hairstylists can only do straight Anglo hair. The salon was full of stylists. Are you telling me no one in this salon can do textured hair? I think that speaks for itself. The receptionist however was very kind. It is hurtful for a salon to tell someone they don’t do your kind of hair. Parto, owner, does my haircut and he’s a perfectionist. I have a weekly manicure with Julia, and it’s not about having a manicure but it’s like having a weekly get-away spot to talk with a friend. She does a fantastic job for manicures and pedicures. Every time I visit my in-laws, I tell her there’s not another Julia that I can trust to do my nails when I’m on vacation.

Chique salon, Christopher is my stylist and he’s super talented, assistant gives a mad crazy wash that will make you feel like you are getting spa therapy for your head, and I am now deeper into Ketastase products.
