Sonja V. Roy was able to see me within a day of looking for a salon, she was friendly and nailed the color and style I wanted. I had also mistakenly forgotten my glasses while in her chair she took time away from another customer & returned them to me at work. This was the 1st time I’ve ever dyed my do drastically and she did a dandy job absolutely loved it!!

I have mixed feelings. About a year and a half ago I took my bf to get his dreads retwisted. To sum it up we had an amazing experience. Due to that I remembered this salon and wanted to get a perm. I contacted the person recommend and we discussed what I wanted and she eventually told me what I wanted was a style not a perm and that she couldn’t help me. But I knew my hours of research weren’t for nothing, there’s different types of perms. Anyways I found a salon that would do it for me, keep in mind it was the salon I contacted right after this one and they accepted right away,. Got it done today and im in love. I guess I’m conflicted cause I wasn’t even able to explain or try to figure out a solution with her. I wish she let me explain and didn’t assume I didn’t know what I was talking about. Or maybe she only knows how to do one type of perm. Regardless I’m conflicted about this salon as a whole. I don’t know if I’ll personally reach out again.
