Positive: QualityDorys is an amazing hair stylist. I had an issue at another salon, and she was very forthcoming about what she can or cannot do. I went for a color correction, and even though I told her what I wanted, she gave me what my hair needed. I am glad she stopped me from frying my hair even further. I will continue using her services and she is one of the most honest hair stylists in the area. Dorys is an amazing hair stylist. I had an issue at another salon, and she was very forthcoming about what she can or cannot do. I went for a color correction, and even though I told her what I wanted, she gave me what my hair needed. I am glad she stopped me from frying my hair even further. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueHello, everyone! I am modeling in a hair show for the first time this weekend. I naturally have very dark hair (Asian) and the stylist was trying to lighten my hair to a platinum blonde before adding violet color by using 20 vol. bleach. Unfortunately, I didn’t react well to the lightener and we had to cut it short yesterday because when they went to do my roots, my scalp was in too much pain. They said to expect a slight burning or itching sensation, but I was pretty sure it wasn’t supposed to be as bad as I was experiencing. I left that day with an unfinished bleach job and this morning I attempted to try it again.Almost immediately, it started burning again. It got so bad that my eyes started to tear up and I asked to stop, but stylist said it would be fine, After a couple of minutes the pain began to subside and I agreed to go on with the treatment. I noticed that even after they rinsed everything out and shampooed, my scalp didn’t feel as relieved as I expected it to. There was still quite a bit of numbness.It wasn’t until after I got home tonight and unpinned the hairstyle they did, that I noticed I have scabbing on the top of my scalp. I don’t know how severe this amount of scabbing is, but I’m really worried because I’ve never had anything like this happen to me before. I will be going to hospital tommorow to treat scabbing. I am afraid of the very worst, like infection, etc. Also(slightly unrelated) the bleach made my hair very thin and wiry. I used to have very thick and healthy hair. Hello, everyone! I am modeling in a hair show for the first time this weekend. I naturally have very dark hair (Asian) and the stylist was trying to lighten my hair to a platinum blonde before adding violet color by using 20 vol. bleach.
