Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityWhen I told my dermatologist that I was undergoing hair removal treatments on both legs, he was concerned and asked for the location. When I told him Paragon, he literally breathed a sigh of relief. He stated that his office sends a lot of patients there because they are a reputable location with trained medical professionals on site at all times. My treatment lasted over a year and I visited the location every six weeks. The staff members were very friendly, professional, and understanding at all times. I found the waiting room to be both relaxing and spotless. It was explained to me in advance, via an in-person consultation, what the cost would be to undergo the extensive treatment. Paragon is not a fly-by-night spa. Although the treatments were costly (which I knew when pursuing this endeavor), Paragon was comparable to other area spas where nurses are responsible for the treatment with a doctor on staff. I highly recommend Paragon due to their easy to navigate location, spacious (and free) parking, top-notch staff, and attention to detail. When I told my dermatologist that I was undergoing hair removal treatments on both legs, he was concerned and asked for the location. Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI was so happy to learn that we had a Medspa in our local community and I decided I would look at moving my current services from Philadelphia to Woodbury in an effort to support local business and save myself a trip into the city. So I booked a consultation. When booking the appointment they had immediate availability which is odd, but I thought maybe they just had an opening. The arrival experience was very odd as the business is tucked into the side of another office? None the less, I was excited for the consultation. Before ever calling me back for a consult, the woman behind the counter decided to go right into pricing calling out prices across the lobby. I found this to be very unprofessional and also the pricing was 5x that of anywhere else in the city! I currently use a Medspa located on Rittenhouse Square which is obviously much more expensive real estate than Woodbury. The facilities I currently use are modern, impeccably clean and very up to date. What you would expect from a Medspa. The decor in Paragon seems to have come from a garage sale specializing in 1990’s furnishings. Nothing luxurious and nothing about the experience would explain the astronomical pricing variance. Screaming out pricing in the lobby is unprofessional and clearly could have been posted on the website or explained when I called for the appointment to save everyone’s time. I would recommend going to Philly if you are looking for Medspa services and skip Paragon to save yourself time and money.I was so happy to learn that we had a Medspa in our local community and I decided I would look at moving my current services from Philadelphia to Woodbury in an effort to support local business and save myself a trip into the city. I love Paragon. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and my skin has never looked better. Also, the eyelash tinting is amazing.
