I called 2 hours early to make a reservation. Guy told me 11:15 I could come in. I show up at 11:14 as he’s finishing up with someone’s hair. Proceeds to take the walk in before me not even acknowledging me in the building. 10 out of 10 would not return or recommend.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, ValueThis is one of the worst experiences of my life. I realize they may not treat all their customers this way but it happened to me and so I need to make my voice heard on this. I made an appointment with them this Thursday morning at 9 am. I go there only to find the doors closed and no one there. I spent an hour and no one showed up. After a couple of days, I call them to find out what happened and why no one showed up and they HAD THE AUDACITY to deny it to my face. They claimed I’d gone to the wrong place and that one person was in the store. Here’s the crazy part: It was the fourth time I was going there. I knew where it was. And better yet, as I sat on the floor outside the doors of their barber shop, I called numerous times and I could hear the phone ring both through my phone and through the door of the store in front of me. But according to them the place was buzzing and I was in the wrong location. My time is far too valuable for this behavior. The owner, is a master barber and she is great! She has fantastic attention to detail and she is talented. 15 bucks is a bargain because the lady really knows what she is doing. I’ve had many people cut my hair and to come across someone who knows how to cut hair…it isn’t so easy. Many people can be trained, but the great barber’s have a gift and this lady does.

Great pricing and a well done haircut. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was due to the owner verbally berating the stylist that cut my hair. I mean, sure she was right that there were a few places that were imperceptibly uneven but there are nicer ways to talk to your employees in front of customers. I will probably go back, but that was a bit surprising to see in a business that has been in Saco for so long.
