My “long nails.” They charge for long nails… I couldn’t log into my other account but, wanted to share these are “long.” Now, my nails are real not tips. So having nails this “long” are I think $10-$12 extra. I’ve been getting my nails done for 20+ years and have never had someone charge for “long” nails. I know you mentioned I could go get the black spots out of my nails but, no thanks. I’d rather go somewhere I know won’t be filming or be money but hungry. I did speak to someone and show them the black spots before I left and spoke to her about the extra charges for my “long nails” (which looking at other reviews seems to be a common thing you do) and she said “these aren’t long” and saw the black dots. As I said before… I won’t go back. Not due to rudeness or the salon being dirty just more so the environment and money hungry feel. I suppose if I were a teenager who loved being filmed while getting my nails done instead of relaxing I wouldn’t mind. But it’s not for me. I will go to my normal place 30 minutes out of my way to not be just a number or charged for “long nails.”

Possibly the best experience I’ve had getting my nails done. My mother-in-law, husband and I wanted pedicures. We were greeted immediately, and let to a private room. Cici did a wonderful job on my nails, and Mora kept up with my husband’s tickled twitching. We are in town for a wedding, but I wish this place was in our home town. I’d go all the time. Delicious strawberry smoothie too.

I am new to the area and found Paradise through a recommendation on the Nextdoor app. Vicky has now done my dip powder nails twice and they look fantastic. It is so nice because while I have my nails done by Vicky I have had a pedicure by Helen. Both Helen and Vicky are perfectionist!! The visits have always been relaxing and enjoyable! I highly recommend Paradise, the owner is always there and very friendly.

So I decided today that I would go enjoy some meeee time and get a full set done. I arrived at Paridise Nails & Spa since I had been there once before and had a wonderful experience with them. I arrived and was greeted with smiles and ready to assist me on my behalf. I didn’t remember the name of the young lady who took care of me on my first visit but they assured me that they would take of my request. My nail technician was (Jenny) very nice soft spoken lady. She gave me the samples to go over which I did and decided on a color #180 very pretty soft pink/white color. I tell her which color I selected with the number #180 we both looked at it and confirmed the color. Excited we began the process after 15 minutes into applying the color on my 2nd nail I ask her is that the right color…she assures me that it is and that it will be fine…so I said ok… She noticed I looked puzzled going to the 3rd nail and tells me I can take it off… given her a confused look as she’s talking on her phone I said it doesn’t look like the one I pick…she then tells me that it’s probably because it’s been on the shelf for awhile but it will be ok..so I tell her ohhh, ok.. (I should’ve told her to take it off) but by that time it was too late and she’s on my the other hand. Although it wasn’t the color I pick It wasn’t bad but she was too busy talking on the phone and wasn’t interested in my opinion or if I was happy about the color. She did an excellent job on my nails but poor customer service. The young lady who fixed my drinks was very helpful and nice and I really enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee ☕️ . I think Jenny could of done a better job by not talking on her phone while working. I will come back again because I enjoy the atmosphere but I will not be having Jenny as my nail technician. Over all the color was ok, but not what I requested I give a thumbs down for customer service on my nail technician but over all a 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to Paradise a pleasant atmosphere.

Update: Took my daughter and her friend here and had the worst experience I think I’ve had at a nail salon. The girls were told they could pick from four dip colors and were rushed to picked between those four. My daughter’s friend told them she wanted pink and the color they PICKED FOR HER was mint green. My daughter did pick a blue but the technician didn’t agree with that blue and brought her another blue that she thought would look better. Both girls are young so neither said a word.

I received a gift certificate from a friend for this place, had never been before yesterday, Saturday October 22. Katie did my nails and Peter did my pedicure. They were amazing as was the atmosphere and decor and music laying. Besame Mucho by Andrea Bocelli was playing instrumentally as I sat down which is one of my all time favorite songs so I had good vibes from the start. Katie freehanded spiderwebs with a tiny brush on my nails on top of my black and orange ombre style nails. Unbelievable. And Peter gave me the BEST pedicure and massage and we chatted friendly and funny the whole time. I think you just made a customer for life. I will HIGHLY recommend to everyone I know!!!

I can definitely see why this place is popular, but they do have some areas for improvement. The mimosas are larger glasses but made with fake oj, kind of like Tang ??? The services they offer are priced average, and Kim did very well on my overlays. As an added bonus to the current pedicure special, you get 10 extra minutes of a neck massage, which is great; just make sure you actually get 10 min…my lady didn’t set her time and it was much shorter than it was supposed to be. Everyone is super nice, and attentive from the moment you walk in.
