This salon is one of the best I have ever been to and definitely the best in the area. They’re new which is why they don’t have a ton of reviews but trust– they are amazing. They are very meticulous and gentle! The salon environment is also super clean and everything is modern. This was my first time here and my acrylic set and gel pedicure came out perfect. Papillon is the best nail salon I’ve been to! Gypsy is AMAZING, she takes great care into making sure her clients’ nails are healthy and to their liking. She always makes sure to make my nails as perfect as she can. No one has ever done my nails better! I never leave feeling disappointed. My mom gets her nails done by Jimmy, and says the same of him as well. There’s no TV in the studio, which is very relaxing as they play a great mix of music instead.

Thank goodness for google helping me find this nail salon. Its conveniently located near Upper State Street (right next to South Coast Deli). Tip: enter through the back entrance where you can park. It’s brightly lit, tastefully decorated. Great ambience and music! The chairs are comfortable divided by the cutest curtains which add a nice touch and great vibes. Grace took care of me and gave me a lovely gel pedicure. She was super gentle and took her time, I didn’t feel rushed at all. Definitely appreciated the attention to detail and everyone seemed to love their nail technicians and experience too! It seems they have a great appointment process, each customer was tended to accordingly when I was there with relatively no wait.

Between the two of them they have been doing my nails (dip) and toes (gel) for years, Their new salon, Papillon Nail Studio is beautiful, clean, and convenient. Truly a marvelous experience. We had a double gel manicure and a double regular pedicure. The place is quite new and was incredibly clean. The service was thorough and the nails turned out great. The staff just friendly and knowledgeable . Highly recommend!

WOW this was by far the best nail salon I have been to. The women are so skilled and extremely precise every step of the way. Salon was clear, relaxing music and the message chair gets the whole body. I am so excited to have found a salon I can have as my go to in Santa Barbara!
