I moved into town this summer. I had a terrible experience trying to find a salon in Farmington to do my nails. Most places were very discriminatory and told me right off the bat that they weren’t taking new customers. I literally had a mental breakdown over it, and was prepared to drive to Albuquerque every month just to get my nails done. Luckily I decided to give Farmington one more chance…and booked an appointment at Papa J’s nail shop. That’s when I met Joshua I have been going to him ever since and have never had a bad experience. Joshua is very friendly polite and professional. His work is pure quality. He is also willing to tackle whatever artistic ideas you might have in mind for your nails. He is the best, and always tries his best to perfect your vision. As long as I live in La Plata NM, I will continue to go to Joshua for my manicure needs, and I suggest you do the same. I went to at least 10 other nail salons in Farmington before going here and none of them can even hold a flame to Papa Jay’s nail shop. This is the only shop I have found in Farmington worth a damn. I got my nails done here for the first time last week and they were really great. They started to chip and when I came back today the owner was very nice about it. He fixed them and recommended a product better for me. I love his work and will definitely be coming back! He makes actual conversation and makes sure I like my nails throughout the process. I’m really thankful he fixed them so well. I definitely recommend him over other shops I’ve been to previously.

Personal, professional, quaint. At first, LOVED my pedi. The foot massage was good and toes looked great. Slightly pricey at $60 + tip. Sadly, gel product started falling off on the 10th day. They only except cash or apps like Venmo – no credit cards. Massage chair did not work very well. The on line scheduling system or the tech double booked my appointment time, and so the other customer who arrived a short while behind me, had an extra wait. There was only 1 pedi station, but she said they’re going to have a 2nd one soon.

Was really impressed with the nails I got. I did the Gel X nails and let her do whatever design she wanted to. Absolutely love the way they came out. Can’t say enough about how much I love them. Pricilla was so professional and explained everything she was doing and explained the difference between acrylic and Gel X in a way that I could understand. Will definitely keep going to her for my nails.

Three years I’ve been in the four corners and I am happy to have found a great quality salon. Priscilla and Jay are so nice and talented, they really know how to make you feel comfortable. They use great quality things and the price is great as well. “Pricey” for Farmington, but definitely worth it for the quality and experience. Will recommend this place to everyone.
