Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityHad an appointment today. 2 weeks before I leave for my wedding. Discussed in brief what colors I would be looking to dye my hair… got to the appointment the Lady I was booked with (was very apologetic and nice) but explained, she doesn’t do red, and doesn’t have any red shades. The most significant thing I said while setting my appointment was, I have RED hair, and I want a different shade of RED. I set the appointment a week or more ago. I get married in 2 weeks. It’s a week before Christmas and no one worth while has any availability. So yeah… I wish I could give 0 stars.And I am sorry to the young woman I had the appointment with, if I seemed rude, I was literally in shock and trying not to cry.UPDATE : As you can see the owner is a real piece of work. I am sorry I ever gave her salon a second chance. I was happy with my first appointment here, and I did leave a 5 star review, I deleted it when I wrote this one. I did NOT ask for Wedding Hair, I am having a destination wedding. So practice isn’t necessary. I just asked for a color and a cut. I did mention RED on the phone, and I DID mention they had my color selection on file. I have been happy with my hair many times in the past, but since moving to Longwood I haven’t found a stylist that I love. THAT is what I said on the phone…I walked in with every intention of being a long term client. My name might start with a K, but I am no Karen…and as far as the insult about “no one dyes their hair that color” seriously ? I had adult acne for a long time and tried all kinds of places to get it cleared. I finally had to stop searching for the place because I found her ! With Tina’s recommended skin care regime, I was able to improve my skin condition + take care of scars and discoloration. She is very knowledgeable and listens to me and my concerns before recommending anything. The things she asked me to do at home are things that fit in my lifestyle and are doable. She took the time to educate me on how things work and how to be consistent. It took time and effort, but it was worth it.Tina is very professional and caring. She’s the best esthetician! I always leave Panacea feeling relaxed, pampered and happy. I’ve been coming to Panacea for facials with Tina for 3+ years. She’s the best! I had adult acne for a long time and tried all kinds of places to get it cleared. I finally had to stop searching for the place because I found her ! With Tina’s recommended skin care regime, I was able to improve my skin condition + take care of scars and discoloration. They are adults now and still continue to choose PanaceaWe have used all their services including getting our hair and make up done for every school dance, wedding, and special occasion.We all get our hair colored (and yes my son too), make up, lashes, waxing, skin care, facials, tanning and massages.I wonder how many people can say they have been going to the same salon for more than 13+ years.There is a reason we stay and it’s because they do great work, deeply care about their clients, use excellent products, and they are affordable.My daughters BF is also now hooked I have been coming to Panacea for more than 13+. years and we love it. Positive: Communication, ProfessionalismWhat a great atmosphere. Everyone is friendly. Tina is the best massage therapist ever and I’ve been getting therapeutic massages for 15 years! I have a very stressful job and Tina helps keep my blood pressure within normal ranges. I highly recommend.
