This location is way better then the one in portland on 102nd! Friendly staff, much cleaner, better neighborhood, was offered info on the specials and description of what is what in detail and no wait. It’s worth driving a couple miles more out of your way for better everything!

I honestly couldn’t say One bad thing about this tanning salon! All of the girls at every location are very knowledgeable! Every time I come into any of the locations the girl are not pushy at all, which is nice because I like to get in and out.

The staff is always pleasant and they offer many suggestions on products, but they don’t pressure to buy. The store and beds are always very clean. Tanning

The beds at PBT are fantastic. They’re all high tech, the nicest one has aromatherapy, and the girls really try to be helpful. They don’t always have the right info, but I think some of them are a bit new so I always try to have patience. Everyone is very friendly and it’s a nice spot to get a few relaxing minutes.

I have been a customer for years, although I tan very minimally. I have 3 children, and it can be hard to get out of the house. I love tanning when I am able to. Upon realizing I needed to update with my new card, (mine had fraud issues not long ago/had to be replaced) and went in today to do so and to tan. I was told that I owed an additional $40 because my card hadn’t been updated yet, and that there was nothing they could do. I have been paying monthly for years, and had actually just upgraded my membership even the last time I was in a couple of months ago, and probably tanned less than a total of 30 times all together over the years. But, I have always liked PBT and decided to just keep paying on the off chance I could get to go. I would think that they would be willing to help, especially during the times that we are experiencing right now. I paid $140..to not tan basically. I then decided to cancel after all these years. I myself have years of customer service experience, and was completely thrown off by the “sorry, there is nothing we can do”, with absolutely no attempt to save me as a customer. Not only that, but was told that I would still be paying for the entire month, without the ability to tan because of cancelling. I have always enjoyed PBT, and was actually trying to set up their app to start using it/going more frequently, and the experience was just a bummer.

Critical: Professionalism, ValueSCAM! I’m visiting from out of state. Back home there isn’t any franchise tanning places anywhere unless you want to hop a flight. A dear friend got me a tanning package for the month I was in town. (169.00 with the tanning lotion) GREAT! Walk in, staff is friendly and says, for 20 dollars I can upgrade my package and I decided to also pamper myself with some after care lotion. (64.00) sign the pen pad forthe transactio, no problem. (Come to find out later, it was already supposed to have been upgraded per promotion) but it’s 20 bucks…no big deal. A few days later I notice an ADDITIONAL 113.00 charged to my card, and call to inquire. I get a call from a “manager,” days later. Stating that the 20 dollar upgrade, upgraded my entire package so it charged me for the upgraded package. SAY WHAT? No no no, I didn’t sign an additional contract, nor did I sign the initial contract. I go back in, thinking it will work itself out. I get a print out of charges and I’m asked what would make me happy. I said, I’m not worried about initial charges, and certainly not the product as I’m using it, I just want the charges removed that weren’t described in the transaction. (Keep in mind I haven’t even tanned but a handful of times within 2 or so weeks.) I go about my tanning and leave. Certainly, with only 4.5 weeks of tanning time, a company would understand that 346.00 is an insane amount to pay for a month of tanning! No! When I was finally contacted. The company is flat REFUSING return the fraudulent charge. They’ve offered to terminate my “contract,” that I didn’t sign, or was conned into signing, believing it was a one time charge. And will only receive “in store credit.” Multiple calls later and I’ve been told in not as many words that the upper management doesn’t care, and would only offer the exact same thing. But was also told that they would not speak directly to me and the manager refused to give a name, or contact information, email…nothing.Bad business, bad business practices.Save your money and go somewhere you get what you pay for, and NOT charged for things you never agreed to. 346 dollars for maybe 7 tans before termination. Their contracts are setup to take money from you after you have quit your membership. They refused to refund my account when their store hours change without notice and you aren’t able to utilize the services. Sign a contract with them and expect to lose more money than you thought you would.

I loved this place at first. Cheap prices, and they are running a special more often than not. However, I am extremely dissatisfied at this point.

Critical: ProfessionalismThis company went out of their way to lie and deceive me to milk more money. Being told I’m “Not allowed to cancel” over the phone and was prompted that I needed to come in to the store. None of which was explained when I signed up even after asking. Due to this I was charged for a month I never used. Went in the next month to sign the paper and was told it wasn’t early enough in the month to cancel, mind you I hadn’t used the service once in the prior two months so was stuck paying for another month of service. Went in the next month after that and one of the lady’s said they could have “froze” my account, which was the worst part because two months prior I was told there was nothing, absolutely nothing they could do for me. This company is deceiving, lying and only out for your money. I highly suggest that you spend your hard earned money anywhere else, or atleast a place that cares about you being a customer. All in all, I got stiffed 3 months because employees couldn’t get their policy correct.Service: TanningThis company went out of their way to lie and deceive me to milk more money.
