Kimberly at Palm Beach in Battle Ground deserves a raise! Every time I come into tan, she greets with an enthusiastic smile, positive attitude and always knowledgeable on the newest products. I even came in one day (spaced bringing my lotion) and she was kind enough to pull and suggest from her own personal supply for me to try. It’s exceptional customer service that keeps me coming back. Great pick in whoever hired her as manager! She’s a gem!

I came in looking for a month of tanning only. Kimberly was so helpful in choosing the level of tanning bed. She was super kind and understanding. She felt like a friend. You can tell she has product knowledge, but she wasn’t super pushy. I really, really appreciated that.

She helped me choose a plan that was perfect for my needs and was able to suggest products that have really helped my skin. All the girls at this Palm Beach location are extremely amazing but the one that stands out the most to me is Meghan. She always seems to go above and beyond to make every experience there just amazing. It amazes me that she seems to know every customer by name. I’m not sure if the problem was with the franchise or the specific salon. Last year my wife and I signed up for one month of tanning prior to our trip to Hawaii January 2019. We went into do the same thing for January 2020. We signed up on December 18th 2019 but explained we didn’t want our month to start until January 1, 2020 ending January 31. We were told that would be no problem. Two employees signed us up individually at the same time. I explained that my wife wanted the platinum plan and I wanted the gold plan just as we had the year before. We left thinking everything was great and returned for our first tanning 1/2/2020. I discovered that mine and my wifes’ plans were switched. No big problem just switch the plans already paid for right? I explained that to the manager who was the one that signed me up and thought it was all taken care of until I discovered that my credit card was charged an extra fee to put my wife on a platinum plan and leaving me on a platinum plan. When I complained about this to the manager I was told nothing could be done about it. I called someone in headquarters who offered to refund the $23.00 or a $40.00 discount. Agavating but felt like the person in head quarters had been good about fixing it.

So I have now been to this location 3 times and each time has been far from what I would expect from a large company. For one it looks out dated, they didn’t have a stand out (which the gal working did not even know when I first asked). Then today I came in because I as out on that side of town and there is not one near my home. The gal working informed me that I could not tan today becaus I had tanned the night before. I had not tanned the night before and when I asked what location it said I went to she said she wasn’t even sure what location it was. I informed her that it must have been an error because I usually only go once a week and I worked last night and of course her reply was ‘I will have to call my manager’. I informed her that I would like a return call from her manager so I could inquire about account security since this doesn’t seem to be as important as they lead you to believe. I didn’t have time to wait while she called her manager on her day off to ask her how to take care of a customer who has up until now been loyal to Palm beach. Good thing there are plenty of other places I can go….
