The Redding Palm Beach tan is very nice and most of the staff is friendly. There are a few that are quiet snotty and I can overlook that, however their pricing is outrageous and don’t be fooled they will tell you a single price and when your cc gets hit expect an additional extra 10+ dollar added to your bill which I was told oh yeah tax and a $10 surcharge from the government but they DON’T tell you that when signing up. Example: I had premium membership and my bill was $134 a month that’s unlimited tan and spray, but that price is ridiculous, I dropped down one level now charging me $110 a month unlimited tan and spray but then they want to charge you extra for additives to your spray tan for $10 or $6 so they hid their costs. Beware of that. And if you think you can call and talk to anyone in the facility forget it. It’s an 800 number and they don’t have a direct line, I left my water bottle and didn’t know if it was there or somewhere else, I called and they said you will just have to go back as we don’t have anyone who answers the phone…the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

Place is always clean and the beds are good. I gave a3 today because blond lady doing check ins more interested in selling lotions than giving good customer service to continuing customers. At least 2 people working in the back ,Can they check people in and put people in rooms that are ready so the rooms turn over faster? Tanning

The beds are great and the store is very clean. My lower rating is because of the long wait… reduced hours (10 to 7 M-F and 10-4 over the weekend) a lack of high-demand beds along with staff being tied up with discussing membership and lotions are the primary cause of having to wait so long for a quick tan. Be careful with the spray tan…. I never had an even tan despite purchasing and using the recommended primer and following instructions.

Palm Beach has the loveliest ladies working there, it’s always extremely clean, however the line is always long to get it, and the reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because u got a spray tan, and it sprayed unevenly and I had the almost orange lines around my hands and other areas. I actually went back and canceled the next day.

Went in for a spray tan but the machine wasn’t on like normal-I am undressed at this point-had to flag someone down to start machine. The machine is malfunctioning and doesn’t tan my front side. They forgot to tell me they do not furnish nose filter or hair protector in the room now so I go without because I am undressed. Decided to cancel my membership sad to say.

I love PBT Redding on churn creek . The west Redding store is cold and the staff snobby and rude. I have been tanning at PBT Redding since their opening. The staff today needs more customer service and sales training. The original staff years ago was better trained. As a sales professional I can see novice training as of now. When I came back after not being on stay and save for 9 months. The sales associate offered me a single tan session without even asking if I wanted to reinstate my membership. I was shocked. I had to help guide her. I did reinstate my membership. I love this store and the beds. I plan on being PBT loyal for life. Not loving the new floors however; the lighting and atmosphere are amazing! please don’t change. <3 Angel

So I was just going to leave this at a simple 1 star rating. Due to the reply that PBT wants me to email regarding my review “if I am willing” I am going to be more detailed. I have tried to contact multiple times and left messages and spoken to your store representatives and no one ever gets back to me. I am so done wasting my time. One star is the lowest I could give. I would give zero if possible. Trust me save yourself the headache and go to ANY other salon in Redding.
