Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueAbsolutely terrible business to deal with. I’m completely dumbfounded by the incompetency and audacity of these people. This company’s practices are ABSOLUTELY LUDACRIS.1 – They kept charging the monthly fee despite all salons having been closed for covid (note that there was no contract in place, only a month-to-month subscription) – phone calls to customer service go unanswered, email not replied to, and the staff at the front are incapable of getting issues resolved without the ever-elusive manager. I had to go through my bank to stop the charges. I even cancelled my debit card and got a new one (with a different #), and this company STILL somehow found a way to charge my account after that!!! How?? I’m pretty sure that is illegal!! It took months to resolve.2 – Once finally resolved, they claimed that I owe them fees for gap months when I didn’t use the service and during which I wasn’t even an active member!! It’s so backwards and so convoluted. The last time I went in, they processed a charge and refused to provide the tanning service until I go back and pay for that gap period. And, they wouldn’t refund the new charge. Again, note that there is NO CONTRACT in place – this is a pay-as-you go service.I am so confused as to how these weasels stay in business! None of this makes sense! The equipment is great, half of the staff is really helpful and knowledgeable the other half is not so knowledgeable or helpful my biggest problem with this place is the app that goes along with the tanning salon tells you that you’re free to tan when really you could owe a bill and then when you go in there to tan even though you paid the bill they won’t let you tan because they say that those two systems aren’t shared which is ridiculous to me because if you can pay for the tanning salon online on the app then why is it wrong for the app to tell you whether or not you can tan they need to get their stuff together and work out the kinks and maybe tell half their staff to not be so patronizing or condescendingly sweet it’s poor customer service. Awesome place to tan. Really good customer service. By the third time I can in the lady behind the counter knew me on first name basis and had my bed ready right when I walked in the door. Couldn’t believe the summer upgrade deal, so worth it. Will continue to come the this location because of the customer service, beds, and cleanliness. Great job PBT.

Had a great experience here signing up. I went in with a ton of questions and the woman who helped me was thorough and spent about 45-50 minutes answering all my questions about tanning products and safety. I wish I could remember her name but she has a super cute short haircut. I didn’t have to wait for a bed and it seemed that the average wait time was minimal for other customers. The salon is very clean (including the restroom) and smells really good (as opposed to burning like some salons). It isn’t mentioned on the website but they do have the Beauty Angel equipment here. On the site it was only listed as being available in So Cal. Anyhoo I am a happy (soon to be sun kissed) camper. Thanks 🙂

My regular location is the Rohnert Park salon. It is always clean and the staff very friendly. My only complaint is that they RARELY seem aware of specials offered to the members. This has happened more than once.

Critical: CleanlinessBefore the COVID pandemic I would have given 5 stars. However since they reopened in Rohnert Park I have concerns about the sanitization after finding a used bandaid stuck vertically to the shelf of what was supposed to be a sanitized room. One of the reps, Dominic, who always provides the best service, apologized up and down and removed the bandaid but now I’m not feeling confident in the cleaning. Also I want to add that I was the first one in the room when they opened for the day (I waited outside until the doors were unlocked) and the room had a “Sanitized” tag on the door handle both which should mean that room was thoroughly cleaned. What also bothers me almost just as much is that I completed the online survey that comes via email after each time I tan AND also went to the PBT website customer service section to report this incident and I have not gotten any response!! It’s been about 2 weeks and I am very hesitant to tan at PBT in Rohnert Park until this is addressed. There’s no way a room can be called sanitized and still have a used bandaid be left behind.
