Palm Beach Tan

Critical: Professionalism, ValuePretty disappointed all around with the service here. During a time where there should be forgiveness and understanding Palm beach tan has not given a second look at my issue.I had a membership and when Covid hit the salons closed. Upon reopening they sent an email accounts would be charged again, however I did not have an email on file so I did not get a notice they were even open. I have been charged for June, July, and August, and I haven’t been in here since March. Again, I had no idea they were even open. On top of that, I lost my job and have been taking care of my grandma so have been taking social distancing measures seriously. I had this account on a CC I don’t use and now have an almost $300 balance for services that were never rendered. At least a phone call for the members who don’t have an email on file, a text, a letter, nothing I’m sure they had plenty of time during closure to figure out how to reach all their members. They offered credit to the salon but in this crisis I dont have that extra $300 to put into a tan. I called corporate after talking to a regional manager and corporate said they have the ability to refund me and they should, so looks like they just chose not to and it is truly a bummer. I understand companies are suffering as well but to take advantage of people who have no idea they are being charged is pretty low at this point in the year. I would never recommend this place for the simple fact that they just don’t care about anything except their own profit and their actions have made that clear.Update after contacting the response listed below. The same person who told me I could not be refunded called me to verify my account has been cancelled. When we clearly spoke about that. Reminded me I have a store credit, but as I said I do not have money during this crisis to pay for a tanning membership so truly thought I was going to speak to someone who cared, obviously unimportant to them.Pretty disappointed all around with the service here.
