Stay away from this establishment. Brissy, the front desk rep, misled my entire experience at Palm Beach Tan. I originally wanted to get a single tan and she kept pushing me into getting a new membership and that it was cheaper to do so. She ended up giving me a $25 gift card so I can take that off a future membership charge. I decided to take the plunge and move forward and I ended up coming home and noticed there wasn’t $25 taken off my membership. I called and Brissy mentioned there was an activation fee that she waived with that gift card. Activation fee?! Not once did she mention there was an activation fee, she said the gift card was for “off the monthly membership fee.” This was never mentioned to me and I hate being misled into a bait and switch for a sale.

I’m not one to typically review, but I had an awful experience with billing here. I had a credit card on file for a monthly membership which I needed to cancel. They told me I had to come in person to do so (such a pain). I did and I cancelled my account. A month later, billed again. I called in, they confirmed that I did cancel, but the staff person made a mistake and it would be resolved right away. I got a call back 10 minutes later saying that while that is the case, they don’t give refunds so unfortunately, I won’t be getting my money back…. I’m STILL scratching my head trying to figure out how this is ok.

Not happy at all… This is my first time coming here, they did not give good instructions even though I told them I was a rookie and had no idea what I was doing. I was prepping for a wedding and I had to return to get rid of the “farmer’s tan” on my arms. By the way, the only reason I came here was to get rid of the farmer’s tan and I explained that to them. My question is, why couldn’t they have helped me the first time instead of making me come back to get it right a second time?
