Critical: CleanlinessI just left this ATB off Mineral and Broadway (it was maybe my 2nd time ever coming to this location) and I was expecting my experience to be super simple, quick, pleasant- like my visits to At The Beach usually are. Instead I had to clean the bed myself because in the room I was put in, the bed had not even been wiped clean since the last person that tanned. There were lotion smudge marks all over. The store was even completely empty when I got there- not busy in the slightest… And I had to wipe up the lotion, sweat, and grime from the last person in there off my bed. The people are nice but are not knowledgeable and purposely leave out details to get more money from you. At The Beach down right is a scam. I like this location because it typically is not busy at all. And I was in a hurry so I just wanted to spray tan and be on my way. I got undressed and put on my lotion as well as barrier lation everything one does to get ready for my spray tan and as soon as it started nothing came out of the sprayers just air… I thought to myself of course this would happen because I’m in a hurry. So it was super annoying I had to get completely dressed again go back out to the front explain what happened to the employee. Which she handled very well, I honestly thought that she might give me a hard time or think that I didn’t know how to work it, but she was very understanding and right away understood why I would be frustrated and got me back in very quickly I appreciated that greatly so whoever was working last Friday afternoon around 4 pm High-5 you were awesome!!!

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience here. The woman working was not your typical tanning salon employee (not tan), which is fine, but she did not seem very knowledgeable about anything! It took over 20 minutes to get me checked in. I came in to inquire about the free week, which after a serious line of questioning I found was only for Level 1 beds. Kind of understandable, but super misleading. $22 later, I was finally directed towards the only room that had a self-closing door (there was no one else in the shop). Super creepy, the door did not lock in any way and was clearly constructed as cheaply as possible. I realized there was not towel on the bed, which instantly made me nervous that it hadn’t been cleaned. After going back up front to retrieve a towel, I returned to my room, stripped down and lotioned up only to realize there were no goggles – nor had the associate asked if I had any. I was so uncomfortable at that point that I climbed in for less than a minute before deciding I didn’t even feel comfortable dealing with the associate to ask for my money back. Will never be back to this location or any others!!
