This facility is a joke. They lie when the truth needs to be known, their Corporate office will not even respond to your 15 email requests. They have several Managers that work at the local Lakeway tan and all tell you something different then say no they didn’t and they do NOT stand behind their agreements. I do NOT recommend any of the Palm Beach Tanning facilities. I’ve tanned all my life and never had an issue.

1st time visiting this location. Kelsey was the employee who assisted me & she was very sweet. I believe there was only 1 other person tanning while I was there, so I didn’t have to wait for a bed, which was the 1 concern I had before arrival. I had heard from people at other PBT locations how incredibly small the Lakeway location. Having a limited number of beds & being the only PBT in the area, I was pretty sure a wait was in my future, but I was wrong. This was the only location in the “Austin area” that I hadn’t ever visited. I had been wanting to check it out for quite some time. Yes, it’s quite a drive if you live in North Austin, (almost to Pflugerville), but I’m glad I finally made the journey. The ONLY unpleasant thing about my visit was the temperature inside the salon. It was EXTREMELY HOT. I’m assuming the air conditioner was out, which was not good, considering it was over 100 degrees outside. I could barely feel a difference in temp when I walked through the front door, & it was even worse once I was in my room. (Which makes perfect sense.) I truly hope for the employees sake, something is done quickly to fix the ac. I am not reflecting the heat issue in my star rating as things happen. This was most likely temporary & couldn’t have been avoided….at least that’s what I’m guessing. Thanks again Kelsey for being such a gem. Next time I’m out that way, I’ll definitely stop back by!

Kelsey (the manager) is hands down the absolute best!!! She is so informative and helped me immensely with my spray tan to achieve exactly what I wanted for my photo shoot! I am definitely coming back every week now to spray tan here. She even checked in on me to make sure my tan turned out ok, now that’s customer service! So happy here!! Thank you Kelsey!

Horrible place. Customer service was rude and abrupt when I signed up. Then the company ended up combining my account with someone else’s with the same first name and then the woman at the front desk tried to demand that I pay this persons late fees and payment from years ago. The tanning lotion was pushed on me every time, and then some bull about coconut oil being bad for your skin. I’m a biochemist. Enough said. I ended up only tanning a few times which was a few too many and a terrible first experience. I gave a 2nd star because the woman that helped me cancel my account was kind and informative. I wish I had seen her there before. Oh well. Save your pennies and time and go to a different tanning salon.
