Use to love coming here. Minus a couple employees (Katharine is wonderful!) the staff is all completely rude. The manager Hannah is EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude to customers, that is if she even speaks to you. Never greets customers, snaps at you and talks down to you if she does. I am currently exploring other tanning salon options. This used to be such a friendly place but since Hannah has arrived the entire location is toxic and full of negative energy.

Just had a very poor encounter with I believe the manager. Refused to give me her name. Long blond hair and long lashes. I left the salon tearing up. That’s how bad it was. No customer service skills once so ever. Palm Beach, you really need to pull this young woman aside and teach her the skills to be successful in this role (management, leadership, customer service, empathy, humbleness, ability to admit when she’s wrong) or fill her role with someone that already posses these necessary skills to successfully run this salon. She is driving it into the ground. Also-not using my real name due to fear of retaliation.

I have been going to this salon for YEARS and I have never had an issue with customer service until having two incidents with Hannah, the manager in training. Her customer service is horrible; she is condescending, abrupt, and rude. She should NOT be in a place where she interacts with customers. I will be going to a different location until she is no longer working there. If she has treated me in this fashion for really no reason, I can imagine she does it to other people as well. She is giving Palm Beach Tan a bad name. A very, VERY unpleasant experience.

I came in the other day and I want to say I met Katherine? I’m not sure brown hair woman.. very kind very professional. I’m new to Texas and would love a tanning salon to call home since the heat is out of control and does nothing for my skin.. I come from San Diego so I can appreciate a good quality place. She was so kind and let me know the tanning prices etc. I ended up not coming in the next day I was in a rush so I came in a couple days later. I was helped by Lauren. She was a total doll- seemed new still at working the taxes etx out but I understand completely. She was very professional. When she asked her co worker Allie for some help. She referred to her and mentioned that I thought there was a special going on and I may have been incorrect but I thought there was. Allie jumps in and states that only a manager can do that kind of stuff which I understood. I wasn’t worried about paying the difference Of what I thought it was. What turned me off what Allies attitude about the other co workers. She really threw your business under the ground. Mentioning some girls got fired and they no longer work here.. using a Paris Hilton “omg” voice… very odd.. like she was better then the staff that worked there. She was not kind at all, and they said I could come back when the manager was there but I really didn’t mind the difference it was the way Allie was talking and the way she put it- it made me very uncomfortable. I ended up paying for it since I really loved how Katherine and Lauren were. I then bought the individual lotion which is very overpriced but it get it businesses have to make money- I really loved the lotion Lauren suggested- I might even buy the bigger bottle- I forgot to ask if they keep my purchases in there system so I can keep track of what I like. I’m very familiar with tanning and she was very kind to make sure I was well aware of the different beds. I also love that you can spray tan and bed the same day.. I did not like however there are no individual garbage cans so I can’t Even throw away my sample packs from the bed- I purchased the Diamond which I want the best- I didn’t feel it get very hot but with the lotion and the type of bed it is I’m sure I will love it- the bed had a dip at the bottom I’m in love with it’s very comfortable to lay on your back and keep your heels in while doing spread eagle so you can tan different parts at the same time. Over all I would say without Allies attitude I probably would have given this place a 10- I have to tan here now that I have the membership but I would def be willing to change my rating once she changed her attitude. I normally brag about places but treating the customer kind and professional is everything. I don’t know if she thought I was going to be rude or disrespectful but I wasn’t and talking bad about past employees is extremely tacky.. you guys are a team and it shows you don’t care for your establishment or your team. If Palm Beach is the best- the girls need to represent that energy… Good luck on that one. Hopefully I have a better experience next time… welcome to Dallas
