It really stinks to purchase a Groupon only to be told that it’s not valid. The girls at the front were not helpful and it would have been SO easy to take a step back and help the customer. Instead of giving the customer options to only sign a membership in order to use the services or “bucks” to redeem if purchasing a membership. They do not offer individual spray tans like advertised on Groupon if you have previously used a Groupon so beware.

O…M…G…The craziest thing happened. I was kicked out because I dared say something to the girl who opened the store 20 minutes late THEN launched into an attitude as to WHY she was late. I don’t know who she called but she even took my license plate number. Mind you, I did not curse her, threaten her…AND I left voluntarily. I was only in the parking lot because I was calling another store to tell them what was going on. I had already talked to them when no one showed to open at ten. Critical: ValueThis review is about the corporate office and the company in general, not this specific location. I have been a customer of At the Beach Tanning for 6 years. I have not had a problem with this company until as of late. I renewed my sunless tanning membership with the understanding that I was purchasing one year of unlimited tanning at all tan levels. I paid this in full, about $500. I went to the location I typically use yesterday to find out I had only purchased the two lighter levels of spray tan. I have never used the two lighter levels and would never have purchased this package had I known this is actually what was I was buying. I called corporate to settle this issue. I explained my problem and asked if I could add the third and fourth levels of spray tan to my current membership. I was told I could not do that. As of 2019, they no longer offer packages with level three or four spray tan. They could/would not make an exception for me despite me being a customer for 6 years. I then asked for a refund because I had purchased something I had not intended. I was told that I had signed a waiver indicating that all sales are final. I have not however signed any waivers with them since 2019. They explained that any waiver signed since 2019 is good for lifetime. I feel this is terrible business practice. I am disappointed that they would treat a good customer this way after so many years.
