I’ve been coming here for a while now and it’s always a great experience, most of the employees remember names of customers and services they prefer. Although today the crew members were very rude. I was asked to have a seat and i would be helped. 2 customers came in after me and were checked in before me. I eventually got checked in and waited for the spray booth. An employee walked out of the back and told a lady that got there after me and was checked in after me was all set in the spray booth. Luckily another employee who i’m familiar with fixed the mix up, im not sure of her name but she’s always kind. After spraying i stood at the desk for at least 5 minutes waiting to make sure my blend wasn’t mixed up with the lady who almost went in front of me. Nobody came up to the desk so i left. They were in the back talking. Seems that there’s a lot of new employees, that shouldn’t be an excuse.

I have been a member and customer for multiple years. On August 18th after I inquired about paying for a 45 day level upgrade, I was notified that I had a free 30 day level upgrade. I asked when it was good for and they said 30 days from that day. I walk in today on the 12th of Sept. (day 27) and they tell me it is no longer active and it actually started on the 11th (not told me me on August 18th) They also tell me there is nothing they can do. I understand it is hard to get people to work for you, but to be treated that way after MANY years is just rediculous. Poor Service!

Critical: ProfessionalismI am sad to say that customer service is lost at this place. Whomever the manager that worked (overweight dark hair) on Wednesday the 28th at 10:45am needs to be fired. No one manning the front desk. Waited 5 minutes before I walked to the back to find someone to help me. I was offered half apologies- she really wanted to make it known that she had done nothing wrong and that she was going over her numbers with the other woman in the room. In fact, she told me several times when I said that I was left up there with no one to help me. It just didn’t concern her since she was in the right for what she was doing. I was floored that she told me she is a manager here. I cannot condone allowing this individual to work in a customer service roll or even worse a managerial role where she has to deal with customers.I am sad to say that customer service is lost at this place. Staff was very knowledgeable about the tanning beds and very helpful when I had questions. The only complaint I have is that when asked which tanning lotion I use (which I purchased at my old salon in Ohio) I was told that I shouldn’t be using it because it’s terrible for me and bottom of the line. I was then shown $50-$100 bottles of similar product and told that this is what I need to buy to even get a tan. I’m sorry but the lotion I’ve been using has been working just fine and I spent almost $30 on that bottle. I will continue to go here and recommend it to friends only because the staff was welcoming and the prices are pretty good compared to other salons in the area.

My experience at this specific Palm Beach Tan was very conflicted. My actual spray tan turned out lovely, the young lady at the counter was lovely and polite and very helpful. My issue here is with management.

Rachel came in my restaurant wearing a palm beach tan shirt and was very rude, wouldn’t wear her mask and then left her trash everywhere. Not sure why you’d have her as an employee, 2/10 wouldn’t recommend her.

From the very 1st, when I actually signed up there was a man in there fussing about recurring charges, and I had a feeling then just to turn around. You have a bunch of young girls who do not know the business end of the salon. Yes they are very good at cleaning the beds, but if you have any questions about your account, and why ever other day or so your being charged for something, there is never anyone there that can answer your questions. Anyone interested in tanning I would advise you to stay away from Palm Beach Tan in Indian Trail.

I’ve been to many tanning salons, however this has been my home one for about almost two months now. I cannot say enough nice things about Delilah (I hope I spelled her name right) because she always goes above and beyond. There is another employee I have come across that is very helpful and polite as well but unfortunately I can’t remember her name. Since I’ve been using this salon, they have been having trouble with the main beds I like to use (and pay eighty bucks a month to use), but thank goodness for my favorite two employees because they will inform me on what bulbs aren’t working so I don’t use that particular bed and come out with a lopsided tan. I’ve mentioned numerous times that certain beds’ bulbs aren’t working and all I get is an eye roll and how it will be working the next week. (The same answer every single time and yet a week passes-and another week-and here I am still informing them that only one bulb in the face tanner works) Nonetheless, it’s in a very convinient location and their summer hours make it worth it! Major shout out to Delilah and the other sweet girl who make my experience better every time!
