LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their Christmas Decorations! They do push lotions and upgrades pretty hard at this location, but they do have the best level 1 beds around (compared to Lake Wylie and Steele Creek -also great locations!!). They are currently not using the head rests in bed due to Covid precautions, so put the towel or piece of clothing under your head to help! Friendly staff!!

Girls at the front desk are super friendly!. Especially Summer and Madison. Very nice Girls and informative. The tanning beds are good but they do need new bulbs. Also noticed lights out in some if the beds. They do get busy in evenings, and I’ve noticed usually only 1 person working, which needs to be 2 people working.

Corporate does not communicate with local stores and cheated my fiance and I out of a $35 gift card we each earned. False advertising and doesn’t state that you have to use the entire gift card on the day u get it in full or not at all. I will always make sure to let everyone know that it’s to expensive for subpar services on a good day.

Critical: ProfessionalismAgainst better judgement, I decided to go to Palm Beach Tan after hearing an advertisement on the radio. The commercial said two spray tans were on sale for $50. When I reached the Gastonia location, the woman at the counter had no idea what I was talking about. She said they had a deal where I could buy three tans for $60, so I went with it. She then told me my total was $81 because the color wasn’t included. So…. I’m paying a machine to tan me then extra for the color? Okay.Fast forward. I go back for my second tan and they tell me I have to pay for color AGAIN. So, I’ve now spent $100 on these spray tans.I went back today to use my third and final tan. I gave the two people at the counter my name and they both just stared at the computer confused. I asked if there was a problem to which the guy replied, “uhm you bought these in September?” I said yes and then he told me they expire after 30 days. Uhm what? Why would I need 3 spray tans within 30 days, and where were the terms and conditions listed?I then said let’s just get one tan so I can get this over with and be done. He told me at this point that one spray tan is now $70! What? He then tried to sell me another “deal”.
