Bought 3 spray tans with the color additives. When I purchased them I told the young lady that would work perfect because I would need one in September and one for a wedding in October. She labeled my additives and kept them for me for when I returned. I purchase them at the end of June and just came back to get my second one. One problem they told me they had expired. How do they actually expire? Do they go bad? No one told me that at all. So I spend three times what I had to for one spray tan. Never again will I tan there again. The young lady today didn’t even offer to possibly do one for half price. All I got was well I am sorry that is corporate I can’t help you they make the rules. Well it would have been nice to actually have known the rules.

I got the worst spray tan ever here. I’m not sure what went wrong but I literally did everything to a T (exfoliated, used primer, avoided all lotion, oil, deodorant and perfume, brought baggy clothes). It was all blotchy and my arms and legs didn’t get as tan as my abdomen or face so I looked crazy for my trip. The girls that work here are all nice, but when I got a refresher on the booth the girl was talking so quickly that I didn’t really get most of what she said but thankfully there was directions up for me in the room. I won’t come back here and to be honest it was a waste of money when my self tan can look way better if I did it myself at home. Probably the best to just come here for the tanning beds but if you burn like me and have to spray tan.. I wouldn’t recommend it.

This location is always clean and the staff very friendly. Very rare that I ever have to wait. Also they have an exclusive level 3 bed in room 13 that has a very cool bed design so you don’t lay completely flat and it’seasieron your pressurepoints. They also offer stand up beds and spray tans.

I have belonged to PBT for 5 yrs(although I took a 1.5yr hiatus due to unrelated health issues). The staff is always friendly,and the salons clean. I currently visit the Glen Allen location and could not be more satisfied. Although I try not to be last minute, there have been times I have arrived within half hour of closing. I have never been rushed or made to feel as if my visit was an inconvenience. I am a thoroughly delighted customer!

This particular location has a wonderdful asset on their team and her name is Hallie. Hallie’s interpersonal skills are fabulous which makes it very easy to converse with her. She was more than informative regarding a variety of the lotions on display and made recommendations based on my particular likes and dislikes. Hallie’s customer service was a refreshing experience overall. The manager Danielle also rocks!!!

Critical: ProfessionalismI was already upset about the service here because the girls were never clear about how much things cost/ what my options were/ always trying to get me to buy expensive lotion. However, yesterday I went in to freeze my account for the month of August and she said it was too late and I had to pay for it and didn’t even let me downgrade. I am so upset about this I cannot afford it nor will I be using it, yet I must pay for it. She said it was in my contract but I was never shown a contract I was just told to sign for my membership which I thought I was signing to authorize my card. I did not know about this deadline. I have tanned here off and on at this location for 5 or so years. This past June I purchased a premium 2 month package. The establishment is clean, staff has always been friendly, and rarely has there been a wait to tan. Overall the experience has been positive, until recently. I tanned on day mid week early afternoon. I was the only customer when I went in and when I left. The next day I couldn’t find my jewelry while getting ready for work. When I returned from work that evening I search my home for several hours and never found my watch and 2 rings, which I wore daily. I spent the next 3 days searching through every drawer, closet, and cabinet in my home. I was perplexed because I always placed my jewelry in the same spot. I never even thought I could have possibly left my jewelry at the tanning salon. When tanning, I would only bring in my keys and lotion. I would remove my watch and rings, apply lotion, tan, then proceed to get dressed, put on my watch and rings, grab my keys, lotion, towel and goggles. On my way out I would discard the towel in the bin and the goggles in the sanitizer. The only items left in the room would be the business card and advertisement tent. My thought was that if I did leave my jewelry staff would have seen it when going in to clean the room. One of the two rings was a monogram ring so even if staff could not remember my name, my initials were on the ring. I decided to call and ask Palm Beach if they had seen my jewelry being it was no where to be found in my house. I called and gave a detailed description of the two rings and watch and was told they did not have the jewelry. The staff member even went to look in the safe when I expressed distress over losing my watch especially as it was a very expensive watch. Still, nothing. A week later, yesterday, I went to tan. On a whim I asked the 2 staff “so I guess no one ever saw my jewelry”. One girl asked me to describe the jewelry, she went to the back and came back with my rings and a silver watch, but not my watch. I was overcome with a mix of emotions. Happy to see my rings but highly upset that my Cartier watch was not found as well. I began to ask the manager questions. “Who found them? Did they say they saw the watch” etc. The manager, who self reported she has been the manager mere weeks, was not helpful AT ALL. Instead of being empathic and helpful, she told me that customers lose items all the time, that she herself once lost a $100 Louis Vuitton necklace in the same salon so she knows how it feels, and that I signed a waiver acknowledging the store would not be responsible in instances such as this. To add insult to injury she must have said 10 times that her staff is great and the most honest (I never disputed this, I just wanted answers as to who/how the jewelry was found) I asked about cameras and if tapes could be looked at. She rebutted with a nonsensical answer. I asked for a GM number. She provided a number to the corporate office. The next morning I stopped in on my way to work hoping the watch had surfaced. The manager was there. The watch was not. I expressed my frustration on how the room could have possibly been cleaned, and my rings turned in but the watch was no where to be found, especially being that I was the only customer in the building and it was non peak hours. She proceeded to give far fetched possible explanations and again mentioned several times how she “knows my staff very well and they are the most wonderful, trusting people”. The staff she has known for 2 weeks. It was insulting. And I told her so. C’mon, at least display some customer service and act like you care and tell me what I want to hear, that you will look into it. Not this manager. And that is in part of why I am writing this review. I asked if there was an owner I could contact and she told me no. That it was all through corporate. I called this morning and left a message at the corporate office. I am awaiting a return call. I looked up this location and to my surprise (not really). There is an owner. What else is staff lying about???

I came in today to get some information on the tanning salon. I was greeted by Lauren she was extremely helpful and informative! She didn’t try to push me to buy the most expensive packages or lotions. I’m glad she helped me, she was wonderful!
