Absolutely loved it! Chloe was a dream to work with. She took the time to figure out my style and listened to everything i wanted while giving me cool ideas and tips for my hair. She even gave me suggestions that i didn’t know I wanted and was supportive of the fact that i preferred to experiment with my own hair colors rather than going to a salon. The result was the best haircut experience I’ve ever had (no exaggeration!) I’m thrilled with my new haircut and definitely coming here from now on.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityYesterday I got an all over color and cut by Stephanie and it was amazing. Staff is so kind and they definitely prioritize safety and hygiene (taking temp before you enter and hand sanitizer available for guest use). I hadn’t gotten my hair done in over a year because of the pandemic but I felt completely comfortable in their salon. Stephanie did an amazing job and talked with me a lot about what I wanted to make sure that we were on the same page. I don’t typically pre-book appointments but I loved this place so much that I went ahead and scheduled my next service in a few months. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great salon in the Lawrence area. I moved from Seattle so I am used to higher service prices and, for my color and cut, I felt that Paisley & Stripe’s pricing was reasonable. Yesterday I got an all over color and cut by Stephanie and it was amazing. Staff is so kind and they definitely prioritize safety and hygiene (taking temp before you enter and hand sanitizer available for guest use). I hadn’t gotten my hair done in over a year because of the pandemic but I felt completely comfortable in their salon. I’ve been to this location 2x now and the second visit was with Chloe who was phenomenal. Since pregnancy, my hormones have changed the texture of my hair and Chloe helped me embrace my new texture. She cut it to encourage wave and then taught me how to style it on my own with a diffuser and styling products. She went way above and beyond any experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon and ever since I’ve had fun experimenting with my new style. I’m very grateful!

Best haircut I’ve had in years! I have thick wavy hair and Brylee gave me fun bouncy layers to help take away the weight. It has a great overall shape and lays perfectly. She did an amazing job!!

They are so friendly, I’ve been there twice, the first was to cut my hair to shoulder length, the second was months after I got Covid, my hair fell out and I wanted to get it buzzed. They were very encouraging and that really helped me embrace the new look. They are very welcoming, they offered me tea and coffee, the inside is aesthetically pleasing and very clean. I love that place and that’s where I’ll go the next time I need a hair cut.

So I usually don’t write reviews but I am unhappy with this salon. I’ll be honest, my stylist was amazing, very friendly, worked hard on my hair and was professional though out the whole process. This complaint has nothing to do with the stylist but more so the pricing. I got a full highlight and a trim. I paid $455. The 455 did include a $70 tip, but still, I did not realize all the charges they would sneak in on me. They charged me extra for having thick hair- I’m sorry I was born that way. Lol they charged me $100 dollars for toner. that’s insane- I’m sorry but I’m bleaching my hair, of course I will need toner- don’t charge me $100 dollars for it! They charged me $55 dollars for a split ends trim. $30 dollars for mixing up more product because I have thick hair, and then charged me a $69 salon scale product charge. I will not be going back, and will definitely not recommend them, unless someone wants to spend their rent money on their hair. And after all this being said, my hair is not as blonde as I would like.

My daughter and I saw Emma and Jordyn, and they were both WONDERFUL!! They did my very picky daughter’s hair EXACTLY like she wanted it. Worth the price:)
