The owners Leslie & Stephen (& crew) have created a relaxing & extremely clean space for you to unwind in as soon as you walk through their door! Leslie has been my stylist for 14 years & I would not trust my hair to anyone else (except the other stylists who also work there). As soon as I’m in her chair, she asks me “What are we doing today?” I love that! I could show her a photo, describe a cut I’m interested in, or explain how I want my color, highlights & lowlights to be. And every single time her work turns out exactly as I pictured it! Leslie is amazingly easy to talk with and enjoyable to be around. If you have not stopped in to their salon in Jamestown, I absolutely think you should.The Painted Post is the best! The Painted Post is the best! The owners Leslie & Stephen (& crew) have created a relaxing & extremely clean space for you to unwind in as soon as you walk through their door! Leslie has been my stylist for 14 years & I would not trust my hair to anyone else (except the other stylists who also work there). Critical: Punctuality, ValueI visited this salon 3 times, each time I saw Sofia, very sweet girl. Everyone there was very friendly and polite, the owners were kind and friendly, the salon is nice and clean. My first appt with Sofia was ok, I brought in pictures and showed her exactly what I wanted, I left with exactly the opposite. Very dark, nothing like the pictures I showed her. The second appt was much, much better. My third visit this past Saturday was scheduled for 12pm, Sofia text me at 11:56 am to see if I could come @ 12:30pm, Of course I was already in the parking lot. I didn’t get to sit in her chair until 1:03pm, per the conversation that was going on, she was working on an old classmates hair, which is fine, but the conversation was long and I had to wait an hour past my original time. After being patient and waiting, I still left with hair I hated. Very dark again, I had to go to another stylist today, Monday, to fix her haste while coloring my hair. When I expressed my concerns of how dark she had made it again. She said “Oh we’ll do a full highlight next time.” Not what I wanted to hear, I could tell she was in a rush to leave. I visited this salon 3 times, each time I saw Sofia, very sweet girl. Everyone there was very friendly and polite, the owners were kind and friendly, the salon is nice and clean. My first appt with Sofia was ok, I brought in pictures and showed her exactly what I wanted, I left with exactly the opposite. Very dark, nothing like the pictures I showed her.
