Critical: ProfessionalismIf your NOT WHITE, don’t go here it seems like they have special treatment for certain people. Which is very sad and unprofessional. When this nail salon was newly opened, I loved it from the first time I went in! Super clean in every aspect which was primarily what I was looking for considering these challenging times. I also loved that it was a small intimate environment compared to other nail salons that get crowded. I have a very busy lifestyle & don’t got time for the hectic. I always did my nails with Lin I believe and she was the sweetest and kindness and did what I requested ALWAYS! After covid I believe she wasn’t working there at the time, I had to do my nails in 2 different occasions with the 2 other girls, sisters-owners. At first they were kind then I noticed they would be RUDE, CATCHING ATTITUDES FOR NO REASON RANDOMLY, AS I SOON AS I WALKED IN, It was not the first time Ive known more people they did this too and they stopped going. They recently had an issue with a simple design I requested from there own Instagram page that they put excuses to do, keep in mind this is a nail salon!! why have a salon if you don’t like doing the job, Yet every white girl around me was getting designs and dip powder sets with no issues yet they double-booked me, and tried to go to the back and talk very disrespectful about what to do with me after I had an appointment scheduled, they gave preference to the white girl, they gave my appointment to her without telling me anything beforehand and refused to do the service I had and scheduled an appointment for and requested!!!!! So unprofesional, they didnt compensate me as a customer either for giving my appointment to the white girl !!! And causing a bad experience yet I remained quiet and agreed to whatever service they could offer. Privileged I tell ya!! They get all the designs and treatment even if its someone else’s appointment!!!! Not to mention one of them did a horrible filing with the electronic filer on a dip powder set, gave me a nail deformation that I had to go to the doctors for. Becuase she filed soooo much my cuticle to clean the dip powder mess she made! That she caused a dent and nail deformation. I had to wait for my natural nail to grow and she tried to act like it wasn’t her and I lacked nail vitamins. Smh. I called and complained and never recompensated or atleast refund me for the bad work!!!!! Those 2 experiences are enough. Please understand that the customer is to be VALUED IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE BUSINESS. Overall this was my favorite salon to go to !! I am very very picky about my nails and I have tried just about every nail salon in York. Nothing compares to P nails. My nails look amazing and my hands feel great thanks to their homemade scrub. They were extremely sanitary and had a lot of precautions in place due to Covid. Everybody had their own nail filer, buffer, etc. There were not supplies being used on multiple people. I got my nails done by Olivia for the first time last week. She did an excellent job. I am very very picky about my nails and I have tried just about every nail salon in York. Nothing compares to P nails. My nails look amazing and my hands feel great thanks to their homemade scrub. They were extremely sanitary and had a lot of precautions in place due to Covid.
