I highly recommend going to PK Walsh. They treated me like family! I felt so comfortable! Everyone is so nice and accommodating. I walked out of there feeling so confident and loving my new wig. Thank you Nikki and staff I will never going anywhere else!

I visited PK Walsh for the first time in July of 2021. I have always had thin, fine hair but just after turning only 40, I had some real balding issues on the sides, over my ears, and absolutely could no longer wear my hair in a ponytail or even the half-up do, that I could sometimes get away with, without feeling self-conscious. I also had a cyst removed in 2020, literally right in the middle top of my forehead, leaving a very noticeable bald spot right at my hairline. So, before visiting PK Walsh, I would only wear my hair down to cover up the thinning on the sides and did a little comb over thing to cover the bald forehead/hairline spot, and I also used to joke with my hairdresser that it only takes a minute to cut my 3 hairs because it was just so very thin.

I had an appointment today with Nikki, everyone at PK Walsh is amazing! Being 30 years old with cancer losing my hair is the hardest part. John answered all of my phone calls and questions and reassured me to call if I have any more questions or concerns. He was so flexible and accommodating with information and scheduling! Wendy at the front desk was so sweet and prepared me with all the information I needed to help submit to insurance. Nikki was fantastic! She educated me on wigs and made me feel heard. She and her staff treated me like family! I’m so looking forward to working with you all more!

After many years of battling hair loss I decided to get a consultation at PK Walsh. I had my first appointment with Nikki and she was wonderful! She was so kind and really made me feel comfortable. She helped me select a hairpiece and color that really suited me. Then I met Rachel who cut and styled my hairpiece perfectly. I have gotten nothing but compliments on how beautiful and natural my hair looks. If I had known how easy it would be to have beautiful natural looking hair again, I would have done this years ago!!

Visited for a scalp issue – Nikki was very knowledgeable about the issue and empathetic to my situation. It took a few visits and trying a few different options to find something that is working. The office was very clean, Covid protocols are in place. Each customer is treated in a private room – which made me feel good knowing that others wouldn’t over hear my situation. The building itself is a lovely office building with plenty of parking.

With years of medicine, stress and overall damage to my hair, I gave up hope on it getting better. I have scalp problems, chunks of hair falling out and confidence non existent. When I went to PK Walsh, I was nervous and embarrassed. Hair is such an important thing to a woman and with so many troubles, it’s hard talking to a complete stranger about it. I met with Nikki and she made me feel completely at ease. I actually cried about 4x. She gave me a sense of calmness, answered all my questions and even answered questions I didn’t even know to ask. She gave me hope that I could have healthy and vibrant hair some day. With proper tools, techniques and guidance, it will take time but it is possible. After I left, I felt like a new woman. Although it was my first consult, just knowing there is a specialist in hair/scalp and Nikki giving me new confidence, it was really great. I am looking forward to the progress with PK Walsh and highly recommend anyone who struggles with hair/scalp issues to give them a call and set up an appointment! Thanks ladies xoxox

I love PK Walsh so much! All of the staff there are amazing, and I absolutely love my wig. As a person who has Alopecia, I would recommend to anyone who is experiencing any hair loss and searching for a wig. I have had an amazing experience with them.

Hair loss is not something I ever thought I would have to deal with at 27, but P K Walsh made the experience bearable. I cannot say enough good things about Kathy, the owner. She went above and beyond to make sure that we found a wig that would work perfectly, and this included several trips to the salon and follow up phone calls by her. She also gave several great tips for insurance company claim filing, which can be a confusing task. The staff is also very nice and welcoming. Wendy, the receptionist, is always smiling and accommodating. I also highly recommend Kaylin, one of the stylists. She has a great eye for style, and was present for one of my consultations and final wig fitting. Even several months later, I know that I can still call the salon or make an appointment with any questions or concerns, and I highly recommend this salon to anyone in need of hair loss solutions.

My grandmother and mother both suffered with hair loss after menopause. When my hair began to thin, panic was my first emotion. Nikki and the staff at PK Walsh have been fabulous to work with and my new hair gets nothing but compliments! I highly recommend them!

Very odd experience here. I should have known when the owner just walked into the room and did not introduce herself to us (the client) that something was off. She starting throwing wigs on me soon after with no description of the type of wig, cap construction, lace vs silk, etc. Only mentioned if it was synthetic or human hair. I asked if I could know the companies of the wigs I was trying on and she said she does not share that information. I’m sorry but that’s ridiculous I want to be able to research about the wig before committing. They are very expensive. She had me try a human hair/synthetic blend which was alright but I asked if I could style this with heat (like curling, synthetic you usually cannot) and she looked me dead in the eyes and said why would I want to style a wig (are you serious?!). She also continued to remind me during the appointment that I did not have enough hair to lose if I had another shed (like I have any control over that). Also that my diagnosis is a permanent hair loss and would never come back (thanks again for the reminder). Don’t even get me started on the terrible lighting and lack of mirrors. I don’t understand how people in the business this long don’t realize wig hair colors look different in outdoor vs indoor lighting. Plus the mirror was a million miles away and impossible to look at the hairline on the wig or part…. which I’m pretty sure we’re not great. A lot of the wigs and toppers felt outdated to what is available on the market today. There are lots of better things out there. Keep looking especially if you are a young woman suffering from hairloss.
