The stylists in this shop have been braiding my girls’ hair for years. I brought my son to get 2 strand twists for back to school, and after a few days they started to come down. I wish I would have been told they would do that before I spent $100!!! It was a good job, but I won’t bring him back for that.

I decided to review this business now even though I got my hair done in August 2022. The daughter of the owner did my hair and did it very poorly, meaning she only retwisted some of the dreads and left the one in the back undone. I did not notice because she put it in style to cover up her deceit. Once I took the style down I noticed the back looked as if it was not touched. I went back to show her and she seemed offended and taken aback. Yet she had my hard earned money for a poorly done service. She tried to blame the style as to why the hair looked the way it did. Excuses, pride, and lack of accountability are going to keep a lot of people from receiving blessings. She will reap what she sowed and God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit will intercede on my behalf because they saw everything and they know the hearts of people. It is unfortunate as a black business to steal from your own people.

Just sent my daughter to get her hair done in two braids and the same day her hair was coming undone. This is the second time I’ve gone to them and they’ve done a terrible job. I recommend finding another braid shop. Quality of their braiding has gone down.

I have used this place several times and never had a problem until recently. Their quality of work for the price has been poor and their customer service has been horrible. There’s no way I should have to walk in and not be greeted. I waited for 20 mins then I greeted them, then they told me to wait. I had an appointment.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityThis business set an appointment and did not honor the time. The woman who set the appointment refused to do my hair after I drove from my home. I made the appointment at 9 am for 1pm. The daughter is the owner but the appointment was for her mother. The mother proceeded to tell get out of her seat and comes toward me because I said an apology is not good enough since you had plenty of time to call me and cancel. I NEVER do this to black businesses but the mother needs prayer and I will pray for her as I told her I would and I said shehada bad spirit. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityThis place is very unprofessiona!!!After waiting for 20 min beyond my daughters 8:30am appointment, we were told to come back at 2:30. After arriving at 2:30 and waiting about 15 min, I asked one of the workers what time would my daughter get her hair braided, she said she didnt know. I went on to tell her that we had an 8:30 and that we were told to come back at 230. Her reply was, “everyone in here had an 830.” I thought to myself, “woooow, so you’re telling me that I’m not the only person whose time isn’t respected.”I guess she really thought that was a good rebuttal. In fact, it only revealed that there is perhaps a broader issue with their way of scheduling and commuicating with their clients. Long story short, we decided to just leave. Highly recommend. I was basically stood up by the other shop down the street and they managed to fit me in last minute and did a wonderful job on my hair. They took their time and everyone was very sweet and professional. Even though it was a holiday I did not feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing them. I am so grateful I will definitely be back it was money well spent. Thank you ladies you are amazing!!

Staff are very professional and kind! I have got my hair done by them over 5+ times and I’ve never been disappointed. They are fast, in and out! I would highly recommend them! They are pricey, but they have workers to pay and this is a business so that’s to be expected!

I got the goddess locs done and I was very happy for the end result. Yes I was there all day and it was pricey but I rather get it done right and walk out happy than to take my chances with someone else at their house. They do good locs.
