Lina is the best! I love my blonde hair color she gives me! She takes time to listen, and I only like Aveda color! She’s a total sweetheart too & I love the way my blonde turns out here! Both in person & in pictures I get tons of compliments. I went here 3 years. Sadly I moved from Pasadena during the pandemic, but I miss going here & will return when I come back later this year. I’m writing this review now because my new hair girls aren’t as good as Lina & this salon, & I miss her.

Can I just say WOW. Lina saved my hair from absolute embarrassment and took me last minute before they closed. I got my hair cut yesterday from another salon and the stylist completely butchered my hair. Crooked length, crooked bangs, a mushroom top with zero blending, zero face angling, there were parts of my hair that weren’t even cut at all, it was a mess. Lina did everything in her power to fix my hair and she succeeded! And she only charged me for a blowout!! I am so thankful for her serious talent and willingness to help. If you ever need a haircut, or need a butchered haircut be fixed, go to LINA! I highly recommend!!! I posted before and after pics (granted one is curly and the other blown out, there are major differences in these cuts!!!)

Critical: Quality, ValueI requested a trim because the ends were dry. You can see how hair turned out. I’d appreciate your feedback on what to do. I’ve never had such a bad haircut. I’m always able to work with my hair, even after a bad cut. I can’t do anything with this cut because it’s so uneven. I have been getting my hair cut at Orpheum for many years, and the quality of cut, the professionalism and their punctuality is the best. I recently moved to Ojai and have tried several new hair salons closer to my home. None of them are as good as Orpheum, and so once a month I drive to Pasadena for the Orpheum treatment. They ruined my hair right before my wedding! I recently moved to Pasadena so I came to Orpheum with my formula from my old Aveda salon. Right after the wash my roots looked red ( I have dark brown hair)! I said something but the stylist kept telling me it was the lighting in the salon. After she agreed that something was wrong she assured me she would fix it. She blamed the old reagents saying they were too oxidized ( how is that an acceptable excuse?). It looked OK in the salon but turned Auburn the next day. Luckily I found another salon that could fix my hair before the wedding. I will not be wasting any more of my money on Orpheum Salon!

Yikes!! This is the color I got in Orpheum salon. Supposedly, this color is by Aveda! Thank God, at least they gave me my money back!!!
