I have been going to this salon for the past few years and they are just outstanding. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcomed and cared for. I have had Maria and Rachel cut and color my hair and they both are amazing. They take the time to really get to know what I am looking for and they give feedback on what they feel would look good on me too. With these two fantastic ladies, I always leave feeling beautiful and refreshed. They guide me to the products they use to help keep my hair healthy. The salon has some great Aveda products that have worked wonders on my hair. I have colored my hair my whole life and unlike many things I have tried these products actually do what they say. My hair is healthy and stays that way. But what makes this salon stand out among the rest is that it is a cohesive and delightful group of stylists all working together. I love that when I am getting my hair done I have a different stylist like Mel who comes up and gives her advice and takes the time to chat for a few minutes. And that is with all the stylists there. Everyone is always so friendly to clients and to each other. I love that they are always working together and helping each other. I have been to many salons in my life and this is the only one I have ever been to that has truly seemed to have a warm working environment. It is clear to see that Nikki (the owner) takes pride in her salon and cares about her stylists as well as every client. I always see her working hands-on with every stylist. I always appreciate her taking the time to chat with me when I am there. It is rare to see such a hands-on owner like that. Coming to this salon is so much more than just getting a cut or color. It is like coming to see your friends and leaving feeling excited for when you can come back. If you are looking for a new home salon I truly suggest you try it here. You will love it.

Last week I accepted a position at Organics Salon in Pflugerville. I received very little training and was expected to “swim”. Even with only a few hours of training and working a 12 hour shift everyone was pleased with my performance. The AC was out and with the Texas heat and blow dryers I was not having a good time but the end was in sight. I start to count the drawer down and I’m over $5.64 on credit cards. I can not find my mistake or who I overcharged. I reached out for help to employees on and off the clock. I went as far as to call the owner’s husband as she requested. Nobody can find the mistake. Nikki, the owner, hands me the keys to her salon and says she is leaving because her last client took it out of her?! I’m like, ma’am I’ve been here for 12 hours with no breaks (you have to take the phone to the bathroom with you). At this point I tell her this is over my head and I can’t fix it. She asked me to step away from the desk. I walked towards the back of the salon and start to speak with another employee, Maiya. I need to mention that she is the only other black employee. During this 30 second conversation Nikki confronted us. It’s clear I need to go and she is upset with me. I asked permission, collect my belongings and left. After I left, Nikki asked Maiya what the conversation was about. Maiya refused to tell her. Nikki threatened to “run the cameras back” and Maiya told her that was okay with her. She left Maiya to continue to work only to come back a few moments later and tell her to stop. Nikki again explained that she was “irritated” and Maiya needed to tell her what was said because she is going to watch it back either way. Maiya did not tell her the conversation. Upon Maiya leaving the salon I was fired for “not being a good fit” via text. Maiya was let go the following morning via text as Nikki “Avoids drama at all costs in her salon and unfortunately last night was just that”. When are employees not allowed to speak to one another? I had many one on ones with others but the moment I have a conversation with Maiya she felt threatened?

Highly recommended it, this place is friendly, clean and it was an amazing experience, I did miss my appointment by a mistake, but when I called the lady on the phone she was so nice and immediately booked me with another hair stylist when arrived, they immediately took care of me, the hair stylist was amazing my hair was beautiful at the end, Thanks to (Jessica) in the customer service and (Kravyn) my hair stylist.

Organics Salon is elegant, upscale and is the best salon in town! They have an amazing staff. I would recommend any one of the stylists. The owner is amazing. They also have a make line and carry Avada products. They also have other services, facials and skin care.
