Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueTracy was my stylist and she is awesome. I did know the cut I wanted just didn’t know what I wanted to do as far as color. She said she knew and that the bleach she uses will work and it didn’t matter that in the past year I dyed my hair with level 2 black box color in the past year. She was right. It lifted perfectly without any damage. She gave me the exact cut I was hoping for and she was super sweet and great to talk with. Highly recommend her and the salon is cute and clean. Tracy was my stylist and she is awesome. I did know the cut I wanted just didn’t know what I wanted to do as far as color. She said she knew and that the bleach she uses will work and it didn’t matter that in the past year I dyed my hair with level 2 black box color in the past year. She was right. It lifted perfectly without any damage. She gave me the exact cut I was hoping for and she was super sweet and great to talk with. Highly recommend her and the salon is cute and clean. Critical: Professionalism, ValueI had a very similar experience to another review I just read regarding unprofessional pricing. I scheduled an online appointment for a women’s cut with no blow dry or styling (I was going to swim laps later that day so I knew it was futile and just needed a trim). The facility is quaint and I had a good first impression. No one was wearing a mask (this was back at the end of 2020). When the stylist was washing my hair she said “do you mind if I do an apple cider vinegar rinse to help?” I said okay. She proceeded to trim my hair. She was friendly and it was fine, and average cut although I wasn’t happy with the lack of long layers I wanted.My issue came when I went to pay. It was advertised as 40 or 45 dollars and she charged me $65. I didn’t realize it until I left and I still tipped %20. I called just to ask bc I figured it was worth saving $20 for a haircut that was just a trim and average. No one answered after calling several times. So I emailed them. The owner responded and said oh sorry there must have been a mistake let me talk to the stylist and I can refund you. Then she emailed me back and said that she talked to the stylist and she uncharged me because my hair was so thick and she used the apple cider vinegar treatment, and the owner did not apologize or offer any sort of discount or credit for future treatment. This experience turned my potential to return to zero. The owner could have recognized i was a new customer and been a little empathetic or offer to refund or discount to get me to return.I would not recommend this salon. I also think there is a miscommunication between the owner and the stylists. I scheduled an online appointment for a women’s cut with no blow dry or styling (I was going to swim laps later that day so I knew it was futile and just needed a trim). I have been trying to get a hair colorist to do what I want, I wanted to add chestnut highlights to my natural gray hair and Karine is the only one who understood what I wanted. If you are looking for someone who will listen to what you want done and actually do it you have to go to Karine.

Not only did she do exactly what I want but she really took he time to make sure and understand what I wanted(purple and blond highlights and lowlights on my brown hair which is not something anyone had asked for before). My hair is also a funny texture its thin but frizzy and curly, and that makes it so most people who cut my hair dont do it correctly. Karine realised what my hair is like and cut it gorgeously taking her time(as you have to with my hair) and getting rid of all my split ends.
