Update: I followed up with the stylist shortly after my first appointment because my hair was cut unevenly. Not a big deal, it happens with curly hair. When I went, the stylist acknowledged the eneven parts, and did a dry cut, just shaping one side to match the other. The whole thing took less than 10 minutes and we spent most of that time discussing how I wanted to start coloring my hair.

My color was applied professionally, with care and a great deal of attention to detail and final look and feel.
