I did a manicure and pedicure at this place. The place I usually go to didn’t have an appointment available for 3 days and I have a wedding on Saturday. I am so disappointed with this place. She didn’t clean my cuticles at all. I even had to specifically ask her to clean my nails. She also didn’t scrub my feet or heels. She basically just painted my nails and charged me for a full mani/pedi. I do not recommend and I will never go back.

I recently located my long-time manicurist and pedicurist, Hana, at Orchid Nails on Route 33 East in Freehold. Hana has been doing my nails for the last fifteen years. She was formerly at Signature Nails in West Freehold. As much as I liked Signature Nails, it was more important to me to have this service performed by this careful, personable technician with whom I have a rapport and long relationship than to try someone new. As a result, I made an appointment with Hana at Orchid Nails and to my great surprise, I found Ping and Anne who I also knew from Signature. The Manager of Orchid Nails made me feel very welcome and my first experience there was wonderful in every way.

I went to this place as a last resort because I was going on vacation and I needed my nails done. I got a simple gel manicure. Gel manicures are supposed to last 2 weeks without any chips (there are exceptions of course). I went on a Saturday, by Monday two of my nails were chipped and by the end of my trip I needed a full replacement. Terrible. I decided to give them a second chance to see if it was just that specific nail color or something, it wasn’t. It’s been a little over a week and my French manicure looks like I’ve had it for a month. I asked the lady to use OPI because that’s what I always use and they always last, she said that whatever they use is better than opi and it’s not. Now after a week I need to get my nails done again because it looks terrible. I will not be going here again. The people are nice but I will not be wasting my money at this nail salon again.
