Vivian is the best!! Always love my nails. She has patience with me choosing a color and design and never gets mad if I change my mind. Easy to talk to. Prices are comparable to other nail salons nearby. It’s a matter of preference of having Vivian do my nails. Place is clean. Lots of colors to choose from.

i have been going to this place for a year and i loved it before i experienced what i did on 09/02/2022. my friend (who i had introduced to the salon a year ago) and i had made plans earlier that day to walk into the salon after i had gotten off of work. i got there before my friend and went in to check if there was any wait time. in the past we’ve never had a problem with walk in services as they ALWAYS took us no matter how busy they were. when i walked in i was asked by a lady with red hair in a ponytail with bangs if i had an appointment. i stated no i did not. she then went on talking about something along the lines of not having enough staff and appointments but honestly i didn’t understand as the mask made her words muffled. i asked if there was a wait time and she just blatantly said no if you don’t have an appointment we’re not taking you, didn’t offer an appointment for another day and not even an apology. i didn’t make a fuss, left and sat in my car until my friend got there. she went in and was allowed the same service AS A WALK IN AS WE BOTH DID NOT MAKE APPOINTMENTS (yes my friend is white passing and i am black and this is important because this area is a predominantly white neighborhood). i was denied a service (she didn’t even ask what kind of service i was getting) and my friend was allowed the same service 5 minutes after i was denied. i confronted the same lady i spoke with about taking my friend and not me, she tried lying saying my friend had an appointment when she did not. i felt discriminated against and i do not want an apology, i want accountability. i want people to spend their money where they are valued.

I went to this place on 12/26/22 to get a manicure with gel polish. Leo was my tech. I had three chipped nails two days later. Now I have 5 chipped nails. . This is French and the white tips are off 5 nails 3 days later.

OPJ Nail Salon is a great nail salon. I’ve been there several times and consistently received a great French manicure/pedicure. They have a large selection of colors available and all of the nail techs are proficient in gel, natural and false nails. The salon is clean – the set used for every individual manicure comes sealed and sterilized. The techs are friendly and they take walk-ins. They salon is always busy, but I’ve never had to wait. 5 stars!

i felt very rushed. my nail tech was very nice but no quality or effort into it. I never get manicures and was disappointed. I did ask her to redo one after there was a brush hair embeeded in polish on nail that was ignored.

Went there today 08/22/20. This was a gift for my wife and she wanted me to come. My wife enjoyed herself very much. It was different for me. Being the only male not working was different. They did a wonderful job on both our feet and hands. We wil retutn. The only down side not very good conversation. But that was expected. More men need to go with thier wives. Gentlemen your wife will love it.
