Took 4 hours to get a set of gel nails done (thats the longest I have ever taken to get my nails done). And paid $55 ($60 after tip) after being told it would only be $50 (I have the messages to prove it). Well after only 5 days one of my nails is already lifting and A LOT of the rhinestones fell off. Jessica The nail tech said her schedule is super busy now and isn’t able to get me in during a time frame I am able to go. So I asked If someone else in the salon could fix the nail for me. She set up an appointment and then told me I would have to pay a small repair fee.

I followed my stylist, Tabitha, from her previous salon to Opal & Ovie and I am so glad I did! Tabitha is so great and it feels like she really thrives at this salon. The other stylists around her were so sweet & everyone in the salon was chatting with each other & it was a great environment! The rinse chairs were super comfy, there was good music and a huge variety of product to buy! Really excited to keep coming back 🙂

BAYLEE GAVE ME LITERALLY NO FLAWS.I am a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Utah. I know a bit more about the process than the average Jane. That being said my hair has been severely neglected during 2020. I had fried, peach toned hair that I thought would never look natural again. I woke up each day dreading my job because I didn’t want my clients to think their hair would turn out badly based on my own unloved locks.Flash forward to me reaching out to Baylee. She was EXTREMELY professional. She got back to me in a timely manner. I felt fully understood before even booking the appointment. Their website to book was a bit confusing but it turned out okay in the end.When I showed up 15 minutes early Baylee was already prepared for me.She gave an in depth consultation, and made it easy to understand her process. She worked quickly, but did not skimp on product used nor did she let her work get sloppy from rushing (which is something I’ve fallen prey to at other salons.) The foils she did were packed TIGHT and her work was clean. I was impressed with her partings because that is always a fundamental step often overlooked. We had a delightful conversation!The wash was comfortable and relaxing! We toned right there at the shampoo bowl and she even did a root smudge- she told me it comes with any blonding! A great value!Then she took me back to her station and round brushed my hair. When putting in the extentions which had been perfectly toned while I relaxed Baylee took the time to understand my life style and added that to her calculations. Her placement of the extentions were perfect and you can’t see them no matter what style I do! She was able to cut the extentions really well! You’d never know!Then she curled my hair.I’m writing this a week and a wash later. My hair feels better than when I went in! Dare I say it’s healthier after her magic. It looks SO NATURAL! Her weaving was on point!I’m so grateful to her hard work and dedication. She made me feel so much better about myself. I can not recommend her more.AND she had great prices. Its a no-brainer.
