Went in for a lash lift. This is my third and last time with them. I believe Ruth was the one that did it this last time. I specifically told her I didn’t want an exaggerated curl where the lash tips curve in she said she understood. I get off the bed and my lashes almost make a 360. They look horrible. Critical: QualityI’m posting this review because I really don’t want other people to go through the pain that I did when I got my lashes done here this summer. It’s been a few months since my experience, but I do want to warn people to be very cautious when booking here. Before booking an appointment, I had gotten volume eyelash extensions done regularly every 2-3 weeks for 2 years (some occasional breaks) with no issues at other lash places, so I know a good amount about lash extensions, how to care for them, etc. I decided to book here this past May and June because I wanted lash extensions for my brother’s wedding, and I was having trouble getting an appointment elsewhere due to my other regular places not taking appointments because of COVID. The pictures on Instagram weren’t bad and the prices were very low so I thought, why not book here? My first full-set was alright, but my lashes didn’t really match. It looked like each eye had a different style going on, but I wasn’t too bothered by it. After two weeks, I decided to book a refill with a different lash tech here because the prices were cheap, I still couldn’t get an appointment elsewhere, and I thought a different stylist would give me a better look. I was WRONG. Despite booking for “hybrid” I felt like the stylists try to shove as many extensions as they could possibly fit on your lash line. I looked ridiculous. The lashes were also so uneven that I went home and trimmed a few of them myself to look decent. Aside from looking bad, my lashes HURT. It hurt when I closed my eyes, when I tried to cleanse my eyelashes, and when I touched them at all. These sets were the first time in my TWO YEARS of lash extensions that it had ever been painful. I saw another review stating that when they had one lash fall out, they noticed multiple clusters glued on a single lash and that was my experience as well. That’s not how lashes should be done, especially not when I did not request a full volume set. I was finally able to get an appointment with my old lash tech after this refill so I booked for her to remove these horrible lashes. When she saw my lashes she warned me that my natural lashes were extremely damaged from these sets. When she tried to dissolve the adhesive, she had such a hard time removing these extensions! There was way too much adhesive used, and she informed me that that’s also why they were hurting me so much. In addition to looking bad, they ruined my natural lashes. Fortunately, they grew back within a month, and I’m back to getting lash extensions at much better places! I’m asking you to please consider booking elsewhere! The prices might be good, but there are so many places where you can get your lashes done and actually have them look amazing without damaging your natural lashes. It’s been a few months since my experience, but I do want to warn people to be very cautious when booking here.
