Brandie not only took her time to understand exactly what I wanted, but let me know exactly how she was going to achieve the desired results. She went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Not to mention was talented enough to give me EXACTLY what I asked for after I used dark box dye on hair! The atmosphere was relaxing music on point, I found my new favorite band! Olivia, the owner, created a stunning salon. Not to mention a pretty cool retail space. 😉 can’t wait to go back!

My first impression of Onyx & Ivy was great. I felt welcomed & the ambiance was elegant & relaxing. I love the style & design of the salon. My hairstylist, Brandy, was wonderful! She was friendly, professional, communicative, & received all my requests eagerly. I’m always apprehensive with a new hairstylist because I have curly hair & I have experienced that not all hairstylist have been trained to work with textured hair. However, Brandy made me feel at ease & walked me through all that she was doing during the cut. She explained the products she used thoroughly & diffused my curls back to life. I left feeling so relax & rejuvenated, not to mention beautiful & loving my locs! I even purchased a beautiful pair of handmade clay earrings that were displayed. It was an overall wonderful experience at Onyx & Ivy.

I have been with Olivia for 2 years and when she said she was opening her salon I was so excited for her. To see her vision and dream come true is awesome. The salon was inviting and beautiful.
