I am new to the area. I have been working with my stylist, back at my previous home, for well over a year on growing out my hair. I made this appointment assuming I would be able to obtain a stylist that I could continue my goal with. While I actually never entered the studio they get a 1 star for one reason. They clearly do not care about new clientele. Three days before my appointment I received a confirmation text. I replied yes, I will be at my appointment at 4pm. Two days before my appointment I received a the same text and provided the same response. Morning of appointment I received a phone call, where again I confirmed my appointment. Then two hours before my appointment I was texted to move my appointment two hours later in the day that I was not able to accommodate. I requested a reschedule and have never heard anything back. So in summary, they really want you there until they don’t. I do not recommend, because if this is how they deal appointment scheduling or lack there of, I can’t imagine how they deal with hair. Perhaps I should give a 5 star review for the potential grief I was spared.

These ladies have worked tirelessly with me for weeks with my hair. They are always so understanding when you need to reschedule and try their best to get in you when is available for you. They are an amazing group of ladies. I won’t go anywhere else for my hair or eyebrows. I’ve never walked out dissatisfied. And its such a calming environment and so welcoming. I highly recommend Onyx for all you’re hair necessities!

I am new to the area and was referred to Kate at Onyx by a friend of mine. I couldnt be happier that she did. i have been in for a cut and then for color, and i am over the moon excited about them both. I came in with a color concept in mind and Kate more than delivered. She is fantastic! I love my hair once again, and will continue to return as long as i am in this area. The salon is clean and very modern, the staff is professional and courteous, and the services offered are excellent. I would recommend this salon a million times over and am extremely satisfied with my experiences.

Not impressed. I’m in the parking lot as I write this, hair clinging to my face, because it is full of static. The stylist used the wrong products on me and I’m really wanting to dig for a rubber band to get it off of my face (I shall hold back). At the beginning of my appointment she sat down to talk to me about what I wanted for my hair – this is great – but please also FEEL my hair too so you can help me decide. I admit I didn’t go into this with the most open mind. I judge my stylist on her appearance and her hair was over processed beached and appeared to desperately need moisture. If you can’t do yours. How can you do mine? Thankfully my cut was super easy and it seems like it turned out okay (she literally took a handful of snips and was done). I want my salon experience to feel warm, open, and inviting. Onyx has a very cold and industrial feel to it. Not my vibe as well. Will not be returning.

I adore this place. It’s my refuge from my hectic life, where I can go for one hour and be treated like a celebrity and walk away with a stylish look at a price that is incredibly affordable. I go there for a variety of services: haircut, color, deep conditioning, brows, lashes, manicures, and pedicures. I’ve never had a bad experience…ever.

Always the perfect cut, color and any other service I have used. The people couldn’t be better. I searched years to find a place that when I left I felt like I got what I paid for…Onyx makes me feel like I got that and more! It doesn’t matter who you see they are all great but you do end up finding the one you just click with. My daughter, my son, and myself love everyone we have been to, however we each chose someone different we prefer over the rest. They have just the right products and styling tools that meet every hair type needs. There is no better place to go!
