The lack of professionalism is why I won’t return despite the quality of the service. The website was unusable and when I called it went to voice-mail and then the only form of communication I received was by text. When I arrived after being told (by text) that I could only receive part of the services requested, I had to wait 30 minutes past the agreed time because the person I was texting wasn’t there and didn’t pass any information to the nails technicians that were there. Thankfully, the technicians on site apologized profusely, gave a free service upgrade for my pedi, and did a great job my nails.

They changed my appointment last minute to a half hour later which made me late to pick up my kids from school. Massage was pretty good but he didn’t get to face or head because he ran out of time. Spa pedicure was relaxing.

Just had the most HORRIFIC experience at this spa. I was given a gift certificate and thought being 23 weeks pregnant this would be a great opportunity to get a massage and relax a little. I arrived on time for my pregnancy massage and the door was locked. The woman who answered a minute later was rude and asked me why I was there and she did not know what appointment I was referring to (I called 20 mins prior to confirm because I was afraid of this and they said I was all set). A few minutes later my massage therapist showed up in a track suit and headband, completely out of breath and said the door to the massage room was locked and looked at me like he didn’t know what to do. Shortly after he got in touch with the owner to come down and unlock the door. I left my daughter at home with a babysitter and was on a tight schedule. At this point they were already running significantly behind. When he offered me water, he couldn’t find where they keep it because he said he doesn’t work there very often. Being pregnant and stressed on time, this was not the way to start my relaxing massage experience. 5 minutes later the owner showed up with no apology for the locked door, delay in my service, and unprofessional massage therapist. When I told the owner I was not comfortable with the massage therapist for a pregnancy massage and that I needed to leave because my massage was now 15 minutes behind schedule, she got mad at me for canceling the appointment and said this was my fault not specifying I wanted a female massage therapist. I have no issue with a male massage therapist, but the entire encounter was unprofessional and uncomfortable that I did not want to expose my pregnant self to someone who clearly was not prepared to give a massage that day in a place that he had likely never been. When I explained that I simply didn’t feel comfortable and that it was too late for me to start I was nearly yelled at and told they would decide how they would like to “handle the situation” and insinuated I might be held responsible and would not be able to use my gift certificate for a different service. Regardless of the massage therapist and my comfort level, the door was locked, the person who let me in was rude, the massage therapist was late and unprofessional, the other door was locked and they had no water to offer me. Somehow I’m at fault?? What kind of spa is this?!

It is truly a Full Service Spa offering nail services by the Bay areas best, Esthetician’s that have master skills in skin care as well as master waxers offering the most comfortable and efficiently exucuted waxes possible, and lets not forget the awesome massage therapists that leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated…. Located conveniently by Castro Valley Bart and the I580 on and off ramp it makes commuting there a breez..
