Onyx + Aura is hands down the best lash studio in Pittsburgh! I’ve been getting my lashes done by Emily for about a year now and always leave my appointments with the most beautiful lashes! Everyone is always complimenting how great they look. Emily is patient, thorough, detail oriented, professional and just honestly so friendly. Hillary has done an incredible job on my lash lift & tints. As someone with lighter hair color and short lashes, Hillary was able to make it look like I had mascara on that lasted for several weeks! Roxanne did an impeccable job on my microblading. She walked me through the process, calmed any anxieties I had and made sure I felt comfortable as she was microblading. The end result was gorgeous (photo attached) and her aftercare instructions were easy to follow and made the healing process simple. Roxanne’s protégé, Emily, is unbelievable when it comes to lash extensions and henna brows. I always tell Emily, “don’t mind if I doze off” because her lash extension technique is so soothing! I make it a point to come to onyx + aura as often as possible because it truly encompasses the definition of self-care and relaxation. Plus, their music playlists are always the best. Roxanne and Hillary have a beautiful studio and an equally beautiful team. I waited a few weeks to post a thorough review of my most recent service at onyx + aura. I got my eyelashes lift & tinted by Emily about 6 weeks ago and there is so much to say. They still look AMAZING & I’m telling you the truth – I have not had to wear mascara since. My eyes look brighter, I wake up looking half way put together, I don’t have to worry about the constant undereye mascara smudging & it’s low maintenance, which is perfect for me. The atmosphere of the shop was so relaxing, it was clean and quiet and the bed were really comfortable. Emily did such a great job, we went over exactly what I wanted them to look like and she gave me some details through the whole appointment.
