I went in showing the stylist a few pictures of how I wanted my highlights to be. I was very specific on what I was asking for. My main concern was blending in my grays. He suggested I do full fine highlights. He showed me a picture of what would be the outcome. He confirmed that there would be lots of highlights to blend with the grays. He confidently said that it was achievable. I was then quoted $330 for the service. I agreed and we started. 3 1/2 hours later my hair looks NOTHING like the photo he showed me. It was all very dark, almost one tone. Instead he tries to tell me. This is a more natural method/approach and took no responsibility for the very different end result that had been requested. He then proceeded to tell me that I’m required to tip him 15-20%. Even though the sign says it was “recommended”. I am very disappointed, unhappy about the results and the whole customer service exchanged. I made no fuss about all the BS, paid and left. Mind you, I’ve gone there many times for their haircuts. I do not recommend nor will I ever go back.

Critical: QualityJust had my haircut yesterday and I’m so disappointed. I’m asian and I thought they would know how to deal with Asian hair, but really not. For $40/haircut plus tips required from 15%-20%, I would say it is not worth my money for that kind of skills. Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI had a great experience with this salon! I had Japanese straightening done here and the staff was so kind and gentle during the process. Compared to other salons I went to, this treatment worked really well. My hair is still straight from getting it done 2 years ago! I had a great experience with this salon! I had Japanese straightening done here and the staff was so kind and gentle during the process. Compared to other salons I went to, this treatment worked really well. My hair is still straight from getting it done 2 years ago! Before I left, one of the ladies fixed my haircut since it was cut wonky from my previous barber and I came out of the salon with smooth hair 🙂 10/10 would come back again !!

I came for perming, after he washed my hair he suggested that I should wait for a while to perm because my hair is still curly enough from last time perming. I was impressed by that. He cares about customer . He styles my hair and trimmed around. It turned out very nice. I like it very much. I came for perming, after he washed my hair he suggested that I should wait for a while to perm because my hair is still curly enough from last time perming. I was impressed by that. He cares about customer . He styles my hair and trimmed around. It turned out very nice. I like it very much. I strongly recommend him as your hair stylist and I will come back again.

The skill of the people doing the cuts are pretty good but god the rest is terrible. I ended up waiting over an hour for a haircut despite being told that I’d wait 20-30 minutes. I was never told that people made appointments ahead of me until those with appointments already started getting their haircut. Sometimes people would get a haircut ahead of me despite me asserting that I was next and them not having an appointmemt. Honestly, the people are good but getting that schedule stuff figured out is what ruins it.

I like getting my hair cut here. Bit of a long wait, but they do a very good job. I tip extra when they wash my hair after the cut to get rid of loose hair. I wish I spoke Mandarin.
